"Carly, I just want to say," Eleanor said, closing her eyes and crossing her heart. "You have a beautiful. It's almost magical! I didn't know what hit me when you sang the first word! You're heavenly talented. You can take these guys' help to make up a career! I almost thought it was better than Taylor's!"

Eleanor winked at Taylor who laughed.

I smiled weakly. "I'm not the best, really. I used to know someone younger than me who could sing amazingly. She could mimmic the voices of Carly Rae Jepsen, Adele, Cher Lloyd, Taylor Swift and most of the famous people. And she was my best friend. My bestest friend in the whole world."

"Why is there a past tense?" Louis asked, curiously. "Like 'was my best friend'? Are you like fighting or like you and Zayn, did she move away?"

"None of them," I whispered, barely and cracked a smile in case anybody asked me why I was so glum. I was dangerously close to tears and I frequently looked down to hide my shiny eyes.

"Anyway!" Harry said, changing the subject. "The performance or should I say song, sounded awesome.  I saw you hurrying towards me and I knew you were probably going to make some excuse which was why I ran away before you could excuse yourself with a throat ache or something."

I gulped at the word 'throat'.

Zayn looked at me.

"How's your sister?" he asked, casually. My heart nearly stopped beating as I stared at him. A few teardrops were outlining the edges of my eye. "I remember her. You loved her a lot! Hey, you could've brought her here too! Oh yeah and once I snuck up on I heard you telling her that she was your bestest best friend in the whole world and she meant a lot to you." Zayn smiled. "I heard you in the old barn when you told her that she meant everything to you. I bet she would've loved to visit One Direction. Why didn't bring her?"

My breathing was dangerously jagged, warning of tears that would come out. I was an ONLY child! I am an ONLY child! I don't have ANY sister! I don't want ANY sister!

At the last thought, my eyes gave up.

The tears streamed down, and once it had started it didn't stop. I looked down in case the tears streaming down shown.

I did a double take and reacted. "No! That's not true! That is not true! I don't have a sister! I never did!"

"I never ever had a sister." I said, looking up and sobbing uncontrollably.

Zayn blinked but when he saw my tears, he leaned back as if scared or frightened of what he'd said or done.

"Carly, darling," Eleanor said, worriedly, patting my head. "Are you okay? I'm sure Zayn didn't mean to bother you." She glared at Zayn who looked at the ground. Every now and then he shot me puzzled glances.

When I looked at him again, he met my eyes. His mouth opened then closed again. Then he spoke up, "Carly?" he paused and added more gently, "Would you please tell me who your bestest best friend was?" He looked at me, worriedly and innocently.

Yet, I did not reply because a huge guilty lump was stuck in my throat. And the lump was heavily painfully reminding me of the past.

Danielle hugged me. "Darling you can tell us anyhing. Control over the mind increased stress, tension and pain. Do tell us."

"Yes, Carly," Taylor said, softly. When I heard her voice, I looked at her. She'd gone through plenty herself mostly with boys than with family or friends.

"If you don't tell anybody, the weight will be on your shoulders and as it grows stronger, you'll become less powerful and have a control over yourself and become stressed and tenses out." She paused. "I should know because I've been through it."
