Rin Kazumi Amane, age seventeen. It's been twelve years since she had watched her parents murdered in front of her, the rest of her relatives having been murdered as well, not that it mattered since her parents were already dead. Rin was put in an orphanage, but she was adopted for a little while. However, they just ended up treating her like shit. She put up with that bullshit for six years. When Rin turned sixteen, she got a job, and a good paying one too. Eventually, while the family was out doing something fun or whatever without her, as usual, she packed up her stuff, the money she saved up and started to head out, well, that is until she remembered the safe in the master bedroom.
It wasn't hard to hack into the keypad lock as she opened the metal door. Rin's eyes widened a bit and a smirk grew on her face at seeing over ten grand in the safe. She already had five grand and ended up grabbing another five to make it ten before closing the safe and heading out. Grabbing her car keys, Rin got into her jet black, 1967 Chevy Impala. Stuffing the key into the ignition, she turned it, her car roaring to life before she backed out and took off, staying in a hotel for a night or two. She ended up getting a decent little apartment for herself in a nice neighborhood and all seemed fine, well, that is until the owner of the orphanage she was from saw her and told her she had to come back because she was under eighteen. But after a little begging and some fake acting, she let her stay in her apartment.
"Fine, but I'm having someone come and check on you every two weeks on Sunday." She said.
"Go ahead." She said.
"But..."
"But what?" Rin hissed.
"You're going to school. You just turned seventeen a couple weeks ago and you should be in school or else you're coming back with me."
Rin groaned, almost growling. "Fine, if it'll make you happy..." She hissed again.

"Miss Rin Amane, correct?" The principal asked as he glanced up from the papers he was reading to glance at her.
"Yes." She answered
For her first day of school, Rin had on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans; a black, spaghetti strap tank top; royal blue sweater with a baggy collar, the sleeves longer than her arms as her fingers were peeking out; and black and white converse sneakers. Her legs were crossed and arms folded, which her oversized breasts rested on top of; it was becoming winter as the air outside was a bit cold, so she wore the sweater. But the principal suddenly glanced up at Rin again, staring at her hair.
"Is your hair dyed?" He asked.
"No." She answered again.
"Are you sure?"
"I was born with this color; check my records if you don't believe me."
He brushed her response off. "Well, here's your schedule. Go ahead and head to class. The bell should be ringing soon." The principal then sent her off.
Rin rolled her sky blue eyes before slinging her backpack over her shoulder, her schedule at hand as she headed for her first class, which was Chemistry. When she got there, she looked around, all the girls eying her as they either were jealous of her or thought she looked terrible. She just sent them all glares and they instantly backed off.
"Okay, class, we have a new student starting today. Her name is Rin Amane. Go ahead and sit anywhere you like, Rin."
Scanning around, she saw an empty seat near the back as she headed for that, seating herself next to a brunette boy with tanned skin and emerald green eyes, almost turquoise. Rin casually put her backpack on the back of the chair and sat down. "Hi there!"
Peeking one eye open, she looked over to the brunette who smiled gently at her before opening both eyes. "Rin, right?" He asked as she nodded. "Well I'm Eren Jaeger and this is my best friend, Armin!"
She glanced over to see a blonde boy, his hair at his chin, pale skin, and bright blue eyes. He waved at the redhead as she just nodded her head. "Hi, I'm Armin Arlert."
"So I've heard..." She said, seeming sarcastic.
Peeking back at Eren, she flashed a small smile, even though it was fake, but at least it made him feel better. The least she could do is make everyone else feel better, even if she was dying on the inside... Twelve years and she could still feel those wounds like they just happened... Ironic, huh? Maybe... Rin sighed as she leaned back in her chair, folding her arms again before her eyes slipped open. Every time she looks in a mirror, all she saw was blood, crimson red everywhere... Though she's long over what had happened as it doesn't upset her anymore, it angers her remembering it, but only for that split second before she regains herself. She just couldn't wait for the day to get her revenge on those who took everything from her...
When the bell finally rang for second, Rin grabbed her stuff and slung her bag over her shoulder. But as she walked, Eren ran up to her with Armin close behind. "Hey, Rin!"
"Can I help you?"
"What do you have next?" He asked before taking her schedule, looking at it. "Looks like I have fourth period with you too."
"That so?"
"Oh, I think you have seventh with Hanji. Just try to keep your distance; she can be a little loud...and hyper." He said, handing Rin her schedule.
"Will do. Thanks for the tip." She said.
"EEEERRRREEENNNNN!!!!"
"Speak of the devil..." Eren muttered.
"Hey there, Eren! Who's you're friend with this lovely red hair!?"
"It's Rin. And you are?" She asked, sounding impatient.
"Hanji Zoë!"
"Right..."
"Hey, Eren, I'll see you in fifth, I gotta get to class." Armin said.
"Okay, see ya, Armin!" Eren grinned before the blonde scurried off.
Hanji then started talking again, if you can call it that. "Oh, you're the new girl! Then let me give you a quick tip. There's someone you should probably avoid. He's kinda "Mr. Popular," but he's really--"
"Hey, Hanji! Jaeger!"
"Short..." Hanji finished.
