6. Dubio

"Hello?" We heard. It was Ethan. "In the basement!" Grayson shouted. He went downstairs and saw us sitting on the ground, next to each other. "What were you two doing?" He asked suspicious. "Truth or dare." Grayson said. "Want to play along?" "Okay." Ethan said. "Truth or dare?" He asked Grayson. "Truth." "Do you like to be my twin?" He asked with a stupid smile. "Heck no!" Grayson joked. "Truth or dare?" He asked me. "Dare." He smiled. "I dare you to kiss me on my cheek." I looked at Ethan. He looked mad. "Grayson! Just stop the crap, okay?" "Okay. But she still has to kiss me on my cheek." He said. I freaked out. I've never kissed someone and I didn't know if I wanted Grayson to be my first. Did I? Ethan grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him. "Let me kiss you first." He said. He pulled me to him and our lips touched. It wasn't a long kiss, but I loved it and I had butterflies in my stomach. "Now you can." He said with a look in his eyes that turned me on. Holy cow. I turned to Grayson and pulled him closer. "Look to the right." I said. He did. I closed my eyes and pretended it was Ethan. And just before I touched his cheek, he turned his face towards me. Our lips touched and I freaked out. I pushed him off me and got up. I ran upstairs and got outside.

I had mixed feelings and felt miserable. I felt terrible cause of Ethan, but did I like it? It wasn't wrong either... No! This was so wrong! I heard Ethan behind me. "Katie! Wait! Please!" He yelled. I hesitated. I decided to stop and let Ethan catch up with me. "I'm so sorry that this happened and that he is such a child. I'll go kick his ass." I grabbed his arm. "I'm sorry I played the game with him. If I would've said no, this wouldn't have happened!" Ethan held my face in his hands. "I forgive you. I know you didn't knew this would happen." I just hugged him. Didn't I? I pushed those thoughts away as Ethan stroke my hair. I calmed down. "I should go talk to him." I said. Ethan frowned. "Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded. "Okay, if it helps you." I went downstairs and saw Grayson with his head in his hands.

"I'm so sorry!" He said. He had tears in his eyes. "I never should've done that. I just... I just had to. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever met and you were about to kiss me on my cheek. On my cheek! I just wanted to make it last. Even though I knew this would never work out. You like Ethan." He said. I felt terrible. I wasn't sure if I regretted the kiss. "It's okay." I said. "Just, don't do it again. I want to be friends, okay?" Ethan came down. Grayson nodded. "Let this never happen again." Ethan said. We agreed. Ethan turned to me. "Shall we go to my room?" He asked. "Yeah." And so we went to his room.
