Chapter 1: Sweet 16

There is only one thing I want for my sweet 16... Shawn Mendes Concert tickets, or even better, V.I.P. passes !

I was really comfy in bed, but mom always makes her special birthday pancakes. . . YUMMMM! ! ! I slowly crawled out of bed but just ended up introducing my face to my tile floor. . There was a loud THUMP!! My mom knocked on the door and said,

"Savannah? Is everything ok in there? "

See, the thing with my mom is that if you don't answer her right away, she reaches the 4 stages of repitition:

1) WORRY

2) MAD

3) ANGER

4) SHE TRIES TO BUST DOWN THE DOOR.....

I answered almost imediately by a simple, "Ya... Mom everythings fine.. I just fell off my bed. Thats all." She went away. I got up off the floor and grabbed my robe. When I got downstairs, I said good morning to everyone. As I started to sit down, I heard faint singing, which I thought was a little weird considering that I was the only one who sang in my family. . . . . . And I deffinitely wasn't singing.. Then I heard a guitar and piano. My grandpa played guitar, and my Grandma played Piano, but they both died 3 years ago.. So it couldn't of been them.

"Am I the only one who hears singing or music being played?"

"It's just you, Savannah!! Thats it, Mom! Shes gone CRAZY.. You just couldnt let go of the fact that Grandparents died and are now in the ground covered in dirt!"

And that would be my brother Griffen.. Him and my little sister Nya get whatever they want whenever they want it.. "Uh-huh..? Well I'm gonna go check it out ok?" I can tell when my family is hiding something from me and that would be now..

Our backyard is huge so like, there are a million places to look for a surprise, but there is one place and one place only that I'm gonna look for a radio or music playing: My Special Garden. /;0 I full on decorated my garden with benches, cherry trees, a nice tire swing, bird houses and bird baths, It was really perfect. Because you have to go thriugh the rest of the yard to get to the gate, it took me about 10-15 minutes to reach the gate. Once I got closer, the music got louder. Thats when I realized what song it was: Life of the Party by none other than THE Shawn Mendes.
