Luffy x reader: Puppy

"Can we get one?"
"No"
"But I want one"
"No means no, Luffy"
"Please????"
"For the last time Luffy, no!" You sighed, already getting a headache.
"But (nammmmme)" He whined, looking up at you with big eyes.
"Luffy, were not getting a puppy" Sure, you would like one, but......
"Why not????" He whined, looking up with such a sad face you had to look away.
"Were pirates Luffy, pirates" You sigh, dragging a hand down your face. Do you have to spell everything out for him?
"Soooooo?" He said, looking at you in confusion.
"For one, we live on a ship. Two, puppies need a lot of training. Three, whose gonna take care of it when were off fighting? Not me."
"I'll take this one, please"
"Luffy!! Were you even listening to me!!" You shout at the boy, who had just gone up to the counter to buy the puppy.

------------de magic time skip------------

"Ahh!! Charlie bit me!!!" Whined Luffy, running around with the puppy hanging off his hand.
"Told you this wasn't a good idea" You muttered, watching from a distance.
"Isn't charlie more of a cat name?" Questioned Zoro, hanging out of the crows nest.
The others just laughed, going back to there work. You shook your head, a small smile making its way up your face.
You made your way back to your room, only to be tackled by a flying blur. The blur turned out to be Luffy, who landed on top of you. You blinked up in surprise, the sudden fall catching you off guard. You hear Sanji yelling in the back ground, and your shocked face turns slightly annoyed.
"Luffy, did you eat all the food again?" You ask, glaring at him.
"Hehe... Maybe?" He laughs, rubbing his head sheepishly.
"Why you!" You start, only to be interrupted.
"Sorry, gotta run!" He yells, before leaning down and pecking you on the cheek.
You stare at his figure as he runs away, before noticing the puppy, who was sticking its head around a barrel and looking at you. You motion it over and give its head a rub, one thought running though your head.
"Did he just do that?"
