Mornings are simply more fun on the Upper East Side. Our favourite things to wake up to: the sun in the sky, the Nikkei on the rise, and a wake-up call from your latest lover or your best friend.
"How is it you're seen at the Vanderbilt family reunion arm in arm with a certain Archibald and you still deny having any feelings for him?". Spencer questioned as the siblings walked down the street in a rare moment of free-time. "I didn't say I had no feelings for him. I simply said we've tried so many times in the past that I doubt anything would be different this time." Ophelia explained, sipping her coffee in one hand as she made her way towards the Constance building. "There are few things guaranteed in the life of Ophelia Waldorf-Huntington: wealth, style and Nate Archibald."
"You make me seem so boringly simplistic." The heiress groaned, not denying her brother's words but also not giving him the satisfaction of admitting he was correct. "Think of it this way then. Blair has lost the future she thought she'd have, maybe you should think about making a move on your man before she decides to repeat history."
The words that lingered in Ophelia's mind made her beyond unsettled, she'd spent years fighting for Nate and establishing her feelings for the boy in any capacity, if she were to lose him to her cousin again she couldn't imagine how she'd handle it.
"I'll talk to him if it'll make you happy." The heiress caved, trying to hide her feelings as much as she possibly could. "Oh it would make me so proud." Spencer sassed, receiving a hit to his arm from his sister before the girl bid her farewells and made her way into the Constance grounds with a newfound determination in her soul.

"Ophelia, just the woman I want to see." Chuck called down the halls as the heiress stood in front of her locker after her first period of the day. "Bass. What do I owe the displeasure?". "You wound me as always." The Bass boy placed a hand over his heart dramatically before walking alongside the ravenette to her next class. "I'm aware you're not on speaking terms with your dear cousin but I thought you would like to know my recent discovery." Chuck continued on causing Ophelia to turn her head toward him, slightly intrigued. "Go on." "For the last week I have seen Blair leave Nate's apartment every morning before school at the exact same time."
The news of her cousin and Nate made Ophelia's heart skip a beat, pausing in her step she couldn't disguise the look of shock and slight heartbreak that appeared. "Do you think they're... together?". The heiress muttered out, not trying to show weakness to Chuck Bass of all people. "That's where you come in. I need you to speak to Nate, see if he tells you about his morning escapades. If he lies we'll both know what's going on."
