Eventually every queen finds herself in unfamiliar territory outside the castle walls. In Blair Waldorf's case, the East Village.

"Considering you've had very little time to indulge in your successes I've taken it upon myself to show you the finest things the Village has to offer." Nate encouraged towards a less than convinced Ophelia. "I know you were poor for a moment there but why am I surrounded by dirty buildings and middle-class workers?". The heiress scrunched in disgust, having never bothered to venture this far out unless it was some kind of friendship emergency. "Well, since your wonderful boyfriend is going to Columbia and you're attending the Fashion Institute of Technology I think it'll be good if you explore this side of town. I can show you the best coffee, the best slice, the best pot dealer but most importantly: how to ride the subway."

Stopping in front of the subway entrance Ophelia let out a laugh, finding her boyfriend's joke to be rather humorous except the nonchalant expression on Nate's face appeared to prove her laughter invalid. "You're joking, right? You do remember Alex drives me everywhere?". The heiress questioned, doing her best to not wonder whether or not Nate's sudden interest in the lower-class assets had anything to do with his brief relationship with Vanessa. "Alex is your family's driver, who's to say they'll keep him assigned to all of your personal needs once you're out of Constance?". Arching an eyebrow in the boy's direction Nate raised his hands in slight defeat. "Okay fine, maybe they will but traffic could take hours, and we could be spending that time in a more productive manner."

"Technically it's one street, if traffic is that awful, I'd rather walk." Ophelia explained, not wanting to cave and lose her subway virginity anytime soon. "And ruin your perfectly curated outfit with the elements?". Nate remained smug, knowing he was providing perfect explanations to every one of his girlfriend's theories. "If Gossip Girl finds out I will personally hold you responsible." The heiress groaned before inhaling a deep breath of fresh air and beginning to make her way down the stairs into the subway station, determined to get this horrid experience over and done with as quickly as possible.

And when a queen discovers her best maiden is with a dragon is disguise the only thing to do is pull up the drawbridge and trap him metaphorically, of course.

"I've had enough. You're making up with Blair today, right now in fact." Serena demanded as she stood in the Waldorf-Huntington penthouse whilst Ophelia planned her university class schedule. "She slept with Carter, consistently might I add." "And you slept with Nate when he was her boyfriend." The blonde girl counteracted but was met with a glare rather than agreeance. "Oh, so her being poached by William Vanderbilt to steal Nate from me is also perfectly fine then?".

Serena's eyes widened at the news, unaware of that part of the cousin's argument. "Well, this just got incredibly awkward." The van der Woodsen brushed her blonde hair over her shoulder as she glanced towards the apartment lift where Blair Waldorf stepped out of. "William told me he'd get me into high society; I had to try." The brunette justified as Ophelia scoffed in disbelief. "You expect all to be forgiven because you just admitted to me you tried to use Nate and ruin my relationship in the process? You're insane." The heiress snapped, walking into her bedroom in an attempt to put some distance between herself and her meddling friend. "I lost everything O! I had no idea where I was even going to school. Besides Nate and you have survived everything else I knew you'd recover eventually." Blair argued once more, not understanding her cousin's side of things.
