I rolled over to left side of my queen-sized mattress feeling the comfort of my gray, silk blankets. I covered my face with a pillow trying to block the sun from murdering my hazel colored eyes. Realizing that it must be at least noon I sat up in the bed only to have the sun stare me down. Wow it's really quiet. Rolling my way out of bed I went to check the other rooms.
I couldn't breath when I pick up the note on the kitchen counter after discovering every room in this house was empty.
Dear Anna,
Lately you've been bitching about we've treated you, well we thought you would get the hint that we didn't like you. I guess not. Well anyway we finally had enough, so we left without you.
"Hello?"
"Yea who's this?" Lisa asks.
"Anna, now where the hell are you?"
"Oh shit." She paused for a moment while I listen to the commotion in the back. "Oh I don't know a Anna.
"Lisa stop being stupid."After a brief pause she finally responded. "Bye "
"Wa- " the sound of her hanging up greeted me.
I wanted to burst out in tears but the shock was overwhelming. They lied. They hate me. "What the hell am I gonna do?" I said to myself.

An hour later I decided to call my mom.
"Mom can you come get me?" I muttered through tears.
"Oh honey whats wrong?" She said sounding motherly.
"They hate me"
"Oh you've always been so dramatic."
"No Mom, they actually said it, and they left me."
"Everythings gonna be fine."
"So you're gonna come to get me?""Honey I have to work and maybe this will be good for you. Anyway I gotta get back to work, bye."
"What?" Then she hung up on me leaving me in a pool of my own sorrow.
