Bruises and Caresses

Chapter 14

((Eren's POV))

I remembered everything.. 

From the car crash, to Levi proposing, even the first time we met.. I was still in shock. I couldn't believe I had been in a coma and everything that I thought happened within the past six months was nothing but a horrible nightmare..

Levi explained everything that had happened that night we got into the accident. He had just proposed and we were driving home from the restaurant when a drunk driver came speeding around the corner and hit us dead on, causing the car to flip off to the side.. I had apparently received sever head injuries when the car flipped, causing me to go into a coma.. The doctors weren't even sure if I would ever wake up. They said I wasn't brain dead, but I had received a lot of injuries to my body as well,  which was also the reason for my body feeling numb and me having a hard time to move very well. 

Levi held my hand in his. "I was so scared.." he said. "I was so scared that I would never see you again.. That you'd be gone.."

"I'd never leave you, Levi.." I reassured as I placed my hand on his cheek, which he still held tightly. I also explained to Levi about my nightmare and how intense it was. How every time I was hit in my nightmare I felt like I could actually feel it. Levi told me that the doctors said that I could experience pain while I was sleeping, which explained a lot. "I'm just so happy you're awake and alright.." Levi said as he pulled me into an embrace, I used all my strength to wrap my arms around him. I had missed this so much.. It felt like it had been ages since I was able to be in Levi's arms.

 He stroked my hair, "Don't scare me like that again, brat.." I giggled at his little nickname he had for me. Anything was better than "little bitch." 

((TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS))

Levi and I talked for hours on end. I never knew how much I had missed talking to him.. It felt so good to catch up. I did wonder how Amrin and Mikasa were doing though.. I couldn't remember the last time I saw them. 

Then as if Levi had read my mind he said, "I called Armin and Mikasa by the way.. They should be here soon." 

Not long after that, my blonde headed best friend and my overprotective Asian sister walk into the room. "Eren!" they both exclaimed as they rushed over to me. "Oh my god, Eren! I can't believe you're awake!" Armin said with excitement. "Eren! My gosh, it's been so long!" Mikasa said. "How are you feeling?" 

"I'm okay.." I replied. Luckily I was able to speak better by now, I just had to work on moving my limbs a bit more. 

They both let out a sigh of relief. "We're just so happy you're okay.." Armin said. "Eren, are you in any pain at all..?" Mikasa asked, trying to play nurse. "No, I'm fine Mikasa.." I replied.

"We should probably let you rest awhile.." Armin said. "He's right.." Mikasa agreed. "You've been through a lot.. We'll wait in the cafeteria for awhile." 

"We'll be back soon!" Armin said as they walked off. Levi squeezed my hand. I looked over to him, "Are you alright, Levi?" I asked concerned. "I'm fine.." he replied. "I'm just.. Really happy you're back.." I smiled and squeezed his hand back lightly. 

"Hello Eren!" said an eccentric voice. "I see you're awake! How are you feeling?" Levi groaned in annoyance. "Do you have to barge in without knocking, shitty glasses?" 

"I just wanted to see how my patient was doing, that's all!"

"Um, Levi.. Do you know this person..?" I asked.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I haven't formally introduced myself! I'm Doctor Hange! I've been working on your case for the past six months." 

"Oh, so you're my doctor then.."

"A crazy one.." Levi commented.

"I am not crazy! I prefer to use the term 'mentally hilarious'!" 

"Tch. Whatever.." Levi replied. "Anyway, what exactly did you want, shitty glasses?" 

"Oh, right! I just wanted to give Eren a quick examination to see how his body's doing!" 

"Whatever, just make it quick, will you?"

"You can't rush perfection!" Hange exclaimed as she began to check my vitals and blood pressure.

"I'm not rushing 'perfection' I'm rushing you." Levi replied. Once Hange was done doing her examination, she gave me some prescriptions to help with pain. "Alrighty then! Overall you seem to be doing good Eren! I just recommend lots of bed rest and very little movements. The ability to move your limbs should come back more and more as you heal.. Your muscles are still a little sore, but there's no need for physical therapy."

I sighed in relief. "So, I should be able to go back to normal soon?"

Hange nodded. "With proper rest and time you should be good as new!" 

"That's really good to hear.." Levi said with a look of relief on his face. 

"But! don't forget what I said!" Hange began, "Not a lot of movements! You don't want to tear or harm any of your muscles!" 

"Got it." I said. Hange looked at Levi. "I'm talking to you, Levi!"

"What the hell did I do?!"

"I know how you are in the bedroom.. You're a kinky short stack. But no rough sex till Eren is completely healed, got it?!" 

Levi's face grew very annoyed. "Our sex life is non of your damn business!" he exclaimed. 

"When Eren comes in here with a broken ass hickeys on his neck, and bondage marks on his wrists then it is my business!" My face turned bright red. "How does she know what our sex kinks are?!" I thought. 

"Oh my! Look at the time! I'm going to be late for a surgery! I'll be back to check on you again later Eren!" Hange said as she turned to leave. "Oh! And Levi, no blow jobs, you hear me?! I don't want Eren to end up with a broken dick on top of everything!" 

"Get out of here, shitty glasses!" Levi snapped while my face remained red. And with that she was gone. "How does she know about our sex life?" I asked. Levi turned his face away with lightly blushing cheeks.
