Dominique Weasley-
I tried to smile as we walked into the large, loud room. Mia and April had dragged me to the back to school party, even though I hadn't wanted to come. I had never told anyone how much I hated parties. They were always awkward since my friends would try to hook me up with random guys and I hated it.
"Isn't this great?!" Mia shouted.
I nodded and April said, "This party is better than last years. I think that the guys have gotten hotter. Don't you guys agree?"
"Definitely Bitch!" Mia said and laughed.
I looked at the ground and muttered, "Ya, sure."
They both gave me weird looks and Mia said, "Well let's go dance guys! Come join me!"
April grabbed her hand and they turned towards me. They looked like they were ready to flee towards the dance floor. I didn't want to keep them waiting and so I said, "You guys go without me. I'm starving anyways. I'll meet up with you in a bit."
They smiled and nodded. They ran off to the floor, laughing as they went. I started to head towards the food and saw a couple of kids hanging around the table. I smiled and grabbed a plate.
I was busy piling on mashed potatoes on my plate when someone shouted my name. I turned around and saw a blonde headed girl headed towards me. I didn't recognize her, but she was kind of far away. As she got closer, I realized that she was the girl from the balcony.
I smiled largely and shouted over the loud music, "Hey Lucy!"
She laughed and finally was in front of me. "Jesus, why the fuck didn't I know you'd be here? I would've dressed up!" she said sarcastically.
I laughed and said, "I have no fucking idea, but trust me you don't look like shit."
I wasn't lying. She looked stunning in the black slip dress she was wearing. She had a pair of black opaque tights on underneath and a pair of black matte Doc Martens. Her hair was curled and she had a denim jacket on. I felt very underdressed in my hoodie and jeans.
She smiled and said, "Well damn, I was trying for that look."
I laughed and said, "So what brings a Slytherin to a boring Ravenclaw party. I thought you guys would be to damn cool for this kind of shit."
"Oh well I am too damn cool, but not to much for a party. And which it's a back to school party, how could I fucking miss it?" she said.
"Haha, true. I personally hate parties. My friends had to drag me here and my cousin is the one who held the party, so I kinda had no choice," I said and laughed.
"Lucy? My not-so twin?" she said and laughed.
"That is the one! She doesn't fucking know her liquor tho. But I guess when you've got a father as uptight as hers, it can't be helped," I said.
"Ugh, I know right. This liquor is goddamn shit. I still can taste that Bertie's Firewhiskey on my lips. It tastes disgusting," she said and licked her lips for emphasis.
"Firewhiskey in my opinion is horrible. It tastes like bloody shit! Like who the bloody hell would want to put that in their body," I said.
"It's not terrible if you have to right one. But yes, it's absolutely horrible and I usually fucking hate it," Lucy said with a large grin.
"That's why I drink rum, I like the taste of it better for some strange reason. It tastes like heaven!" I said and laughed, "Too bad there isn't any here!"
"Eh, rum is okay. But I prefer the luxury of Vodka. It's the best fucking drink on this goddamn planet if you ask me," she said with a laugh.
"That's a muggle liquor isn't it? I think I've heard about it from my aunt. She says it's bitter and gross. Is it?" I asked her.
"At first it is. It fucking stings your throat when you first drink it, as long as you drink it by itself. But it is so fucking worth it. I brought my flask with my favorite one in it, wanna swig?" she said.
"Sure, why the bloody hell not?!" I said in delight.
Lucy smiled widely and pulled out a metal flask from her jacket. She handed it over to me and said, "Don't worry it's not as horrible as your aunt makes it out to be. It's fucking great actually!"
I opened the cap and took a drink. The clear liquid ran down my throat and it stung. This was way harder than any liquor I had ever drank and I could barely believe it. I gave her back to flask and she smiled widely at me.
"Pretty fucking great though, isn't it. But I'm not a big drinker, so I only drink at parties usually. How about you, are you a big drinker?" Lucy asked me.
"Eh not really. I get drunk really fast, and I hate being in that state. So like you, I only really drink at parties," I replied.
"Well do remind me to get you drunk sometime Dom," she said and laughed.
I groaned and said, "Hell no! Why the fuck would I do that?!"
We both began to laugh and she said, as best as she could, "Oh trust me, I'll get you drunk sometime and we'll have a fucking great time!"
"Haha alright babe. I'll not be looking forward to that day!" I said in a heap of laughter.
After we had recovered from our laughing, she said, "Do you want to go dance like crazy ass motherfuckers! Cause I sure as hell want to!"
I laughed and said, "Why the fuck not?! Let's go!"
Lucy smiled and grabbed my hand. We ran towards the dance floor and I could say that this had definitely been the best party I had ever been to. And it was all thanks to Lucy. Both of them.
