It was 12 am, Ethan has decided to livestream himself editing.

He logged onto the website and tweeted out the link. Soon enough there were about 13 people in there.

He opened his footage and started editing, letting the people in the chat do their thing.

15 minutes into the stream, the viewers were talking about conventions and how cool it would be to do a crankycrew meetup.

Not many people could make it to conventions, considering the viewers were divided in several countries and states. It's kinda sad there can't be a meetup all of them can go to. The money and distance makes it hard.

People were throwing names here and there. Ethan was talking about how Jack has septiceyesam, and how Mark has tiny box Tim, so, the viewers were trying to think about their own mascot.

Suddenly, someone suggested the name "Gizmo" and it just clicked in Ethan's head.

'Gizmo the Gear' he kept repeating in his head.
'I can work with that'

"So guys, it's official, Gizmo the Gear is now a thing!" Ethan said into his microphone.

In about 10 minutes, all Ethan knew was a bunch of fanart in his Twitter notifications. He retweeted each drawing, making cute little squeaky sounds that melted the viewers' hearts (well at least mine)

Ethan then realized, how much those viewers cared, how much they cared to immediately go draw, to stop everything they're doing and start working on the "Gizmo The Gear" drawings.

It amazed Ethan how people are so caring, how people actually care enough to draw immediately. It always fascinates him how people watch and like his content. How much people love him for his videos, and him. He started thanking them, and then the postitive messages in the chat started popping up.

"We'll always be here for you"
"We would do anything for you"
"You're a part of my daily routine"
"You make me happy"

"Guys, thank you so much. My whole goal of starting a YouTube channel, was to make people happy. Just the fact that I make people smile and laugh when they need it, is just amazing" Ethan said with his eyes tearing up a little bit.

The viewers couldn't handle seeing him tear up, so they joined. It was an emotional mess, that they even created a hashtag for it '#crankyfeels' (we have a hashtag for everything thankfully)

They started expressing their love for each other, and how they've changed each other's lives...

We all know fanfiction is supposed to be love between 2 people, but Ethan knew he loved his cranky crew more than anything...
