Without You

Ella's POV

I hesitated at the top of the stairs then went back down to see Nathan still there. I found myself smiling and hypnotizingly staring at him. I quickly stood up and acted casual as Nathan turned around. I gave a nervous smile and wave then scrambled as fast as I could out of the room.

"No Ella wait! I really need to talk to you."

I froze then waited for Nathan to make another move.

"I need to talk to you." He repeated.

I sighed then spun around and came to face to face with the devil himself. My eyes widened then took an immediate step back. Nathan laughed then shook his head as if nothing bad happened between us before. We practically kissed and he's just standing there and laughing stupidly.

"Don't do that!" I gasped as I tried to hide the blush that was creeping up onto my face.

"Do what?" He asked jokingly. "Stand? Would you like me to sit?"

I rolled my eyes but smiled anyways. He can really cheer me up even if he is the biggest jerk and is stupid and idiotic and-

"Ella?"

"Right. Um.." I trailed off. "Well... hi."

He raised his eyebrows curiously. That probably wasn't the best response now that I think about it.

"Hey."

"So.... How's it going? Great? Okay then bye!" I said casually. I turned around to sprint then made a last second choice to turn back around again. Something told me that I needed to talk to Nath. And now seemed like a good time to do exactly that.

He rolled his eyes then took my hand. I drew my hand back but he had a tight grip on it.

"I know you're mad at me."

"No I'm not. Who said that?"

"Yes you are. And I'm going to do whatever it takes for you to forgive me."

"No."

"What?"

"No, I'm not forgiving you." I repeated. His face crumpled, almost making me feel guilty. Almost.

"As my mum said, I'm too forgiving. Which is great I guess. But sometimes, I let things go too easily. I forgave you once, it's not happening again."

But seeing his sad face, I thought it over. Maybe what I said was a little harsh.

"Unless you do something amazing and will blow my mind, I'm not forgiving you." I said after a second thought. He seemed to accept that then his face lit up. I could almost see a lightbulb turn on above his head.

"Uh... I'm just gonna go now..." I said awkwardly then ran upstairs. He was still frozen in that position when I reached the top of the staircase. He's got quite the personality.

Nathan's POV

I've got a plan. But I need help. A lot of help actually. Well maybe just Cass and the boys.

Ella's POV

I wonder if Nathan actually is going to do something special for me. I really doubt it but knowing him, he will definitely do something drastic and dramatic.

Cass' POV

I sat on the couch and tapped my glass thoughtfully. What would happen when the boys leave? We have University and the boys have all of their gigs.

"Cass!"

I jumped up and spilled water all over myself.

"Nathan!" I screamed. He raised his arms in defense then grabbed my arm and pulled me down onto the couch.
