Capter 8

Camilas Pov

"I'm not gonna be another victim to your domestic violence problem."

After I said that I immediately regretted it because Lauren looked like a sad puppy. Lauren then sits on Destiny's bed and when Destiny comes back she kisses her and heads back to her own room.

I lay in my bed thinking about how much it must of hurt Lauren when I said what I said to her. Until I drift off into a deep sleep.

The next morning I wake up to an alarm clock going off.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean for my alarm clock to wake you up." Destiny says.

"It's fine I need to be getting up anyway." I get up from my bed and go into the bathroom to get dressed for the day.

When I come back into the room I see Lauren and Destiny laying in her bed talking about who knows what.

"Okay I'm gonna go get dressed for today so I'll be back in a couple minutes."  Destiny says.

She gives Lauren a kiss, grabs her toiletries and heads out of the room.

Lauren is just laying in the bed on her phone it's like I'm not even in the room. I still feel really bad for what I said to her yesterday.

I walk over to Destiny's bed and sit on the edge of the bed. I look at Lauren and put my hand on her forearm to get her attention.

She looks up from her phone and looks at me. She still looks upset.

"I'm sorry for what I said to you yesterday Lauren I didn't mean to say that." I tell her.

"It's cool I'm not even tripping over it." She explains. She gets up and goes through Destiny's suitcase and pulls out a Miami high sweatshirt. She puts it on and walks back over to the bed.

Before she could sit back on the bed I make my way in front of her. I put my hands on both of her forearms and rubs them up and down.

"Can I have a hug please?" I say softly.

She doesn't answer so I wrap my arms around her torso as tight as I could and lay my head on her chest.

"I'm sorry Lauren." I say while looking up at her face. I put my head back on her chest as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"It's okay". Lauren is holding me so tight and I'm loving it right now. Just being in her arms makes me happy.

We let go of each other when we hear the door open. Destiny comes in with only a towel. She starts looking for some clothes in her drawer.
When she's finishes getting dressed we all went out to the quad where the big fountain is.

I see Carter start walking towards me and the girls with another guy.

"Hey baby" Carter says to me and kisses my cheek.

"Hi." I say back.

"So everyone this is Austin, my roommate." Carter says

"Austin this is Lauren, Destiny and my girlfriend Camila." Carter introduces us.

Carter came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Ok so look there's this party tomorrow and I wanted to know if you guys wanted to go." Carter explains.

"I would but I don't have an outfit to wear." Destiny says.

"Yeah neither do I and I'm not going to a party looking crazy." I say.

"Well I'll give you some money and you guys can take the rest of the day to go to the mall." Carter says.

"Baby can I get some money to buy a new dress?" Destiny gives Lauren a pouty face.
