Alex's POV
I woke up in the backseat of Damon's car leaning yet sitting up, it hurt my back really bad. I heard a yawn and looked over to my right. Johnnie was next to me, with a blood stained arm, stretching while waking up. His arm bumped against the back of the seat in front of him and his eyes shot open "Ow!" He yelled. I leaned up and twisted the key to start up the car.
8:32AM the car read, I turned it off and nudged Johnnie so he would get out of the car.
He got out of the car and looked around, I attempted to get out of the car but tripped and fell, I was only like a foot away from the ground when Johnnie grabbed my arm and helped me up.
"You should be happy I have quick reflexes", he said with a grin.
"Thanks", I said as I gave him a quick kiss.
"No problem", he said putting his arm around me.
We walk over to all the rest of the group to wake them up, Jordan is already awake, he always is.
"Guys wake up!" Johnnie yells at them.
Carson's eyes shoot open "What?!" She yells. Which wakes Damon up.
"We just kinda wanted to leave now", I inform them.
Everyone agrees and eventually Bryan wakes up. We get everything together and went back to the house. Damon and Carson went home.
Johnnie's POV
Alex and I are currently doing the most romantic thing ever, sitting in my bed, on our phones checking twitter.
My phone rings all of a sudden and it's Margaret, that's weird because she never calls. I answer the phone.
"Johnnie, Johnnie you need to come to the hospital in Mountain View", she barely said through tears.
"What why?!" I yelled into the phone.
She doesn't answer me and I start to freak out even more.
"Margaret!" I scream into the phone.
She told me why I had to go, the call ended after that. I threw my phone at he wall, it cracked but I didn't care.
Alex jumped up and ran over to me.
"Johnnie what's going on?" She asked me in a very concerned tone.
I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the apartment.
"Where are we going?!" Alex yelled at me.
I just kept pulling her through the apartment building. Just before we got into the elevator she pulled her arm out of my hand. "Johnnie!" She screamed.
I dropped to the ground. She sat next to me and I broke down, I cried and cried. I told her what happened. My mom was in the hospital, she had a heart attack and Margaret didn't think she would make it.
Alex immediately pulled me up off the ground and held my hand really tight until we got to the car, she drove to the hospital my mom was at in silence, we got there and I ran in while Alex followed me.
I went to the front desk and said I was here to see my mom, Mary Guilbert, and they told me to go upstairs and take a left to the waiting room and a nurse would meet me there and explain thr state my mother was in. I started to run to the elevator when Alex yelled my name. I turned around to see Alex running behind me, out of breath.
"Wait-up", she said between breaths.
I ran back over to her and helped her walk to the elevator. We stepped inside and she slid down the elevator wall and sat on the floor, breathing heavily. I sat down beside her and she kissed me on the cheek.
"It's all gonna be okay", she said in a calm tone.
The elevator opened on the second floor and we ran to the waiting room. I immediately saw Josh and Margaret. They ran over and hugged me and tried to explain what happened.
Finally after about an hour of waiting, the doctor comes out.
"Are you the Guilbert family?", he asks us. We nod. Except Alex of course.
"I'm very sorry to inform you that Mary has passed away, we did everything we could. Her heart couldn't take it anymore", the doctor said reluctantly.
Johnnie dropped to the ground in shock. Margaret started to hysterically cry. Josh couldn't take it so he just left. I helped Margaret over to a chair as Johnnie ran out into the hallway.
I ran after him and found him in the staircase crying, sitting against a wall. I sat down next to him and tried to put my arm around him.
"Leave me alone!", he screamed. I got all jumpy.
"Johnnie, let me-", I was cut off by Johnnie.
"Leave, now", Johnnie said in a low, hurt voice.
I tried to sit next to him but then he stood up. I got back up and tried to walk near him.
"Johnnie I don't want you to do anything you'll regret", I said calmly, but loudly.
"You don't control me!", he yelled.
"Johnnie!", I yelled back.
I got closer to him. Then he hit me, he smacked me right in the face.
"This us over! We're over! Just leave!", he yelled at me as he burst into even more tears.
I ran to the car and didn't stop, Margret yelled to me, nurses did, patrons did. I didn't stop. I got into the car and just lost it. I screamed, until tears were pouring out of my eyes. I called Jordan.
"Hello?", he said sounding very confused.
"I'm at the hospital in Mountain View. Pick me up now.", I said emotionless into the phone. I ended the call.
I sat and waited. Sitting outside the car in the parking garage. Jordan finally came around ten minutes later. Him and Bryan got out of the car and ran over to me.
"What's going on?!", Bryan yelled.
"Go inside and go to the second floor waiting room. Jordan stay please", I replied, not looking at them.
Bryan walked inside and Jordan dat next to me.
"What's wrong?", he asked, still very confused.
"Johnnie's mom just died", I said blankly.
"What?", Jordan said, he sounded so suprised."Johnnie hates me. It's my fault he does, he never wants me near him again", I say, slowly touching my face wear he hit me, it stings.
"What happened to your face?" He asked in a concerned voice.
"He hit me. It's my fault", I say nothing but the truth.
