Hello! Yep! I've got a new chapter! I've also read my story again, and I can see a lot of grammar mistakes etc. ( I started this 3 years ago, but never was really motivated to continue, until 1 month ago). So I" ll correct them when I have the time for it. And I"ll change the MC character a bit. And maybe in the beginning you"ll see that the main character is described as beautiful, and mary-sue, but don't worry, the longer you read the more you"ll see her flaws and that not everyone thinks she's beautiful. Since beauty is subjective.
I hope you guys enjoy this story!
Be sure to comment and vote, please! I"ll really appreciate it and it would motivate me to continue to write even more chapters!
Enjoy!~
~hitomi's pov~
Orochimaru read the scroll first without me, with no expression on his face. It was silence for minutes, it felt like hours, no maybe days.
I was nervous and curious, curious what was written in the letter my mother had written for my uncle, maybe there was something in the letter for me. I shouldn't get my hope too much up.
I didn't want to get disappointed by the bad news.
" I'm done girl, you can read the scroll", he stated and gestured me to walk to him.
He pointed me the scroll which I softly grabbed from his hand. I started to open the scroll as soon as possible and because of that a picture fell off the scroll.
I picked the picture up and looked at it.
It was our family photo which was always in the hall of our small house. I was so happy that I had that picture back. I hadn't seen the picture in six years. It was six years that I hadn't seen a picture of my parents. I almost had forgotten what they looked like, or at least, my father.
My father had long straight dark blue hair which he always forgot to wash, which was clearly to see in the picture. His pale light blue eyes didn't look healthy on this picture though he tried to give his biggest smile. He wore a black yukata on like we did as well. My mother looked almost the same as Orochimaru, only had she a rounder face, slightly darker eyes, and her hair was shorter. Her birthmark surrounding her eyes was also slightly darker.
I placed the picture next to the side of the chair on the floor and sat on the floor as I read the scroll.
'Orochimaru,
By the time you" ll read this, we might be years in the future.I might have written this months ago, years ago. I'm not on this planet anymore either, and you do not know me.
If you've received this letter from my own daughter, at least I do hope you got it from her, It will mean that you"ll never get the chance to meet me.
That really sets my mind off. I always wanted to meet you and see with my own eyes how much you have grown into the adult men you are today.
Like you have already expected, we never had the chance to meet each other, though I have tried to visit you several times alone and with my husband.
They first told me in the beginning that you were most of the time on missions with your team and gave me a picture how you currently looked like. They gave me a picture of a healthy twenty-one-year-old man. Later when I tried to visit you they told me that you became an S-rank rogue ninja. This was a thing that had really shocked me first.
I never saw a reason for one to become a rogue ninja and also not from a great ninja from Konoha like you, so they had said. But I do not know your side of the story and I do not know you. There is no place for me to judge a book by its cover is it?
