Chapter 6: Boyfriends

The last chapter was pretty intense. So the Grayson and Maddie POV's is after hanging out. and I decided to do ethan and Avery's POV on that night as well. then after is the continuation of last night, if that makes sense. You'll get it when it actually happens.

Grayson's POV:
What just happened?! I JUST ASKED MADDIE OUT. And the thing is, she said YES. Once me and Maddie, and Ethan and Avery part Maddie says her mom will need them back over for dinner. I was sad they had to leave. But I also needed some time to myself. Me and Eth both walked up to our own rooms. Right when I closed the door I flopped onto my bed. My mind racing a million miles an hour.
What just happened? What will our fans think? What will they say to her? Why did she say yes, does she actually like me?? Yes she should otherwise she would've said no. But what if she was using me to get Ethan's attention? Well she wouldn't do that it's so obvious that Avery likes him and Maddie would never do that to her.
Maddie is such a good kisser. Her lips are so soft and when ours are smashed together it feels so, right. I've never really felt that with a girl. Sure I've had a few girlfriends but they were in 6th grade when it's not really dating. When you're in highschool it's real dating. You go on dates, you drive them to the movies and not your mom. I need to be amazing for her, she deserves it. I have to make her happy, cause when she is happy I'm happy. It may sound cheesy but its true. Maddie makes me happy. But I don't know if she feels the same way about me.

Maddie's POV (still after the hangout basically):
I can't believe what just happened, for me and Avery. I could feel the awkwardness in the air so I came up with a lame excuse so it wouldn't be that way another day. Ethan and Grayson walk us to the door say and say bye.
"OH MY GOD MADDIE!!!!!" Avery says clearly excited.
"Grayson asked me out." I say still in shock. Avery looked at me with wide eyes.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY??????" She says her focus completely on this topic and would obviously not get off of it until I told her.
"Yes." I say before blushing.
"OMG OMG OMG" She said jumping up and down.

Avery's POV (before hangout ever happened):
I woke up to the sound of Maddie talking, thinking she was awake I got up and looked at her, trying to understand what she was saying. The thing is she wasn't even talking to me, she wasn't talking to anyone specifically. I just heard a faint-
"Grayson" She said again. I half smiled half smirked because it was really cute and I'm her best friend and know that she likes him. I shook her lightly then gradually shake her harder until she finally woke up. She sat straight up, breathing hard, sweat coming gleaming on her forehead.
"You were saying his name." I say as she started to blush. She gave me a confused look, clearly thinking of whatever dream or nightmare she just had. We both checked our phones and I saw she got a text from a random number who turned out to be Grayson. She started smiling like no other and had a conversation with him that I had no idea about. She looked up at me and said,
"Grayson invited us to come hang out."
I screamed, I mean really screamed. The loudest I've ever screamed in my life.
"What the HELL Avery! Chill." She said laughing lightly.
"Oh fine!" I say showing how excited I am by squealing.
"I said we'd be over in 10 minutes." She said, right when she did so I mentally punched her.
"You expect me to be ready to see Ethan Dolan in 10 minutes." I say sarcastically.
"You look fine. You didn't wash your face last night so you still have makeup on. Just a little mascara and eyeliner and you should be fine. And you can wear a messy bun like me." Wow that girl is a fast thinker.
"Fine." I say smirking.
We both ran into her bathroom and I grab bed the mascara right away, I have to look perfect. While I started on my mascara Maddie did her hair. I took about 2 minutes per eye making each perfect. After I was done I handed it to Maddie and then picked up a black liquid liner. Since I needed to look perfect I decided on a wing that took me a while, Maddie took 5 seconds on her mascara. After I was done I put the eyeliner back down and did my hair. Before I knew it we were already walking across the street to the Dolan's house. I nervously looked over at Maddie so many times I lost track. Once we got to their front door it immediately swung open, to the exact person I wanted to see. I looked into his beautiful brown eyes and he looked into mine and gave me a warm smile with his perfect teeth. I looked over to Maddie and gave her an excited smile.
"So this is Avery, the one Grayson was telling me about. You're right about her being gorgeous Maddie." He said before winking at Maddie while I sat their blushing. When Ethan let us in I saw Maddie look over to the top of the stairs, so I did so as well and saw why Maddie looked in awe. There was Grayson in a tight but perfect fitting see-through white t-shirt and sweatpants low on his hips making his appearance even more gorgeous. I think Grayson is cute obviously he is but Ethan is hot and you can't just be cute in highschool.
"Enjoying the view." Grayson says to Maddie smirking.
"I think you're enjoying the view too." Maddie says as I watch Grayson check Maddie out.
"Let's go downstairs."
**Downstairs**
"What should we do?" Ethan asks looking over at me. I'm still blushing about what happened before. His look makes a shiver go down my spine and butterflies make their way into my stomach.
"Let's do something off-camera, I'm tired of having to edit Youtube videos." Maddie says yawning.
"Good cause no one else other than you guys are seeing me like this." I say giving everyone a death glare.
"Let's play spin the bottle!" Grayson says.
"Fine." Me, Ethan, and Maddie say. Grayson grabbed a random bottle and put it in the middle of everyone. Maddie went first. Just as I thought would happen the bottle lands on Grayson. I looked over at Ethan adoration filling my eyes, and love in his big, brown, innocent eyes. I could tell right there that he liked me, that he's protect me from Cody; my abusive ex, that he'd be there for me when my parents weren't there for me, he'd buy me pads and tampons when I'm on my period. Literally that's a life saver, I think before mentally laughing.
"Your turn Ave." Maddie says snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked over at Maddie to see her holding Gray's hand. awww. I think before spinning the bottle, and closing my eyes, I hear it stop and I slowly look up to where the bottle was pointing, instant butterflies, stomach dropping, and going on rollercoaster after rollercoaster is what it felt to look into those gorgeous brown eyes. He slowly leans in and I do the same. Fireworks. That's the only thing I felt other than those soft, plump lips. We slowly fall over and I started to smile into the kiss. Inbetween a kiss Ethan looked me in the eye, not in a harsh way but with soft eyes.
"Avery. I know this is a bit soon. But I feel like you're the one. I immediately thought you were gorgeous, then I got to know you a little better and you have the perfect personality and everything about you is perfect, would you please go out with me?" I was completely and utterly shocked.
"Yes I will go out with you Ethan Grant Dolan" I say before kissing him again both of us smiling into each kiss. As we all parted Maddie made up a fake excuse to get us out of there. I, Avery Sanders, dating Ethan Dolan.
