L- 'The bell... is this the end? Light Yagami, you truly are Kira. I let you get so close to me. I apologized because I felt it was my ignorance, and that I wanted you to be Kira. I was right we've been after you this whole time... are you my friend? This mist have benn your plan all along. Youve out smarted me. You've won, I've lost I let so many people down.

Light walks in the room he can see Ryuzaki sitting on a chair by the window. Staring blankly out in the rain. A cup of tea on the table sits untouched next to him. Light stands in the door way.

Light- 'I have to get rid of him.

L turns suddenly staring Light right in the face.

"Lawliet. " He says angrily. Ryuk laughs to himself. Light is taken back by this.

"Ryuzaki-"

"Lawliet... That's my name!" He stands abruptly. "Write it down," he turns back to the window "Kira, I'm ready to die."

There is a long silence no one moves. Ryuk waits eagerly, watching back and forth between them. Minutes go by.

"Awkward." Ryuk says out loud. And he floats out of the room.

"Light, you really are Kira. You have a strong sense of justice and belive in killing the criminals for their wrong doings... but in doing so you're just like them. You are not a god, you've become the very thing you wished to get rid of."

Light is beaming with anger but the words begin to settle in.

Light- Damn Ryuzaki... or Lawliet. He's told me his name what a fool. I'm not one of those, those...! They weren't innocent could you honestly blame me for wanting to get rid of the pests in this world!? Huh? Rem has been in the corner this whole time.

"Light Yagami, I wish to speak with you." Rem says glaring at Light. He stares at L ignoring Rem. L hasn't moved. And he could swear that L had a tear run down his cheek.

"You've won. I could turn you in so you'd have to accept the same fate of the people you murdered. I... can't."

"Huh?" Light and Rem look completely baffled.

"And because of this. I accept the same fate. I let them down, I let everyone down...even you," He turns "Light. You know my name now, just gwt it over with. When I'm gone, you will suffer the same fate."

Rem- 'If they both relinquished ownership of the Death Note they'd forget everything. Those people would still be dead, I don't care. It might just save Misa. Light Yagami you truly are a disgusting human being. Even if I have to force you. You will forget this.
