What? The bombs are missing?
I stop crying for a minute. Who would take the bombs? Is that why they almost killed me and Jay?"The..bombs...?" I said in a quiet mouse-like voice.
"Yeah, the bombs. When I heard your scream I went upstairs to find you fainted and Jay covered in blood. What I also noticed was the bombs were missing and the person behind it all left a note."
"A...note?"
Lily handed the note to me. It was only then that I noticed her hands were trembling, and they always were.
The note read:"Heehee. Hey Awari! Long time no see, eh? Like the little surprise I left for you? ;) I hope you're not TOO upset by what happened to your 'friend'. Accidents happen, y'know? Well, thanks for the... 'Supplies'. I'll be using them very soon! I don't think you guys are using them properly. ;P They're made for DESTRUCTION. Not payback. So, I hope you have a super FUN time in the hospital, while I test this stuff out. <3
~With extra love, NORI.""H-how do they know my name? Who we are?" I stuttered. This was horrifying. I've never been this scared my entire life.
"Awari, I wish I knew...I honestly do.""They also know our purpose for doing these bombings? What if they go to the government? What will we do then?" I'm losing it. I'm completely losing it. I can't handle this.
"Awari, calm down. Your temp is going up." Lily said, calmly. I could tell she wasn't calm. Lily always puts on a fake face for us. A face to hide her own emotions. She doesn't want to worry anyone. I could see she was on the verge of tears.
"Lily, it's okay. You can be yourself when you're with me. I understand."
That's when Lily lost it. She went completely out of control. Tears running down her face, one after another, snot flying out and her facial expression was as if her mom had just passed away. It was my turn to return the favor. I hugged her tightly, as she did to me.
"It's okay to be yourself. You don't always have to wear a mask to hide your true emotions."
