After 10 minutes of crying, we both got a hold of ourselves.
"So, what will we do about this? How do we find this NORI person?" Lily asked me, still covered in snot. I hand her a tissue. "Thanks." She said. I nodded my head.
"Well, if seems as if they only know my name, so it must be someone I know." I said, my voice trembling.
"Well, it could be something else.."
"Something else?"
"They know you, but you don't know them."
"W-what? No, that's not-"
"Awari, listen. We have to think of all the possibilities we can if we wanns search for this guy."
"But if they got ahold of my information then they could certainly obtain yours and Jay's as well."
"Well, we don't know if they have your information. It seems like they only know your name so far."
"No, Lily. Look. In the letter it says 'long time no see'. What else could that mean? Either I know them, or they know a lot about me."
"I guess... Any idea who they are? Do you know anyone that would try and hurt you, me and Jay?"
"C'mon Lily. I'm a total social outcast. I got bullied all throughout 2nd to 6th grade. Of course I have enemies."
"Well...can you think of one that absolutely despised you?"
"There's too many to name. Too many countless possibilities. Anyways, none of them were smart enough to do this."
"I guess. So we're going with the possibility that they know you and you don't know them?"
"I guess we are..."
"Well, firstly, how would they obtain your information? Social media? I mean you're on every one of them. Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Wattpad..."
"Yeah, but of course, I wouldn't put my real info there."
"That's true. Maybe... Maybe they're with the government?"
"No, can't be. They wouldn't have done this, just maybe arrested us or properly kill us off. There would probably be a SWAT team as well, knowing we have bombs and such."
"...The person in the letter...they said they were going to use those bombs, correct?"
"Yeah."
"So maybe, they're also in a terrorist group."
"Hey we're not terrorists. We're doing this for the better good. Terrorists do it just to watch people suffer and be in pain."
"Well, that's what it sounds like they're doing. Remember? They said 'They're used for destruction. Not payback.' They also said they were gonna test it a bit."
"Well, their name is NORI, we definitely know that. We also know that they know me, and I don't know them, and they're probably terrorists."
"Yeah. Also, it sounds like they love attention, so it'll probably be a huge explosion."
"Like, on the news?"
"Yup."
"Wait...maybe this is another clue!"
"What?"
"Maybe...they want us to find out who they are!"
"What do you mean?"
"They give us their name, which is NORI. They tell us they're gonna play with the bombs. They make it insanely obvious that they just love attention. So, if they're on the news, maybe they'll leave another clue for us!"
"Awari, you are genius."
"That's why I'm the leader." I said in a failed attempt to flip my hair.
"Now we just have to wait to tell Jay."
"H-how long do you think that'll be?"
"A week if the doctors can work quick enough."
"What if they start their plan before Jay gains consciousness?"
"Well, if they really had another message for us, and they knew they hadn't killed Jay, don't you think they would want all of us to know? Remember, they love attention, right?"
"I guess that's true. We should still watch the news just in case, though."
"For a week?" Lily moaned.
"Yeah. This is important."
"Fine, fine. I hope Jay appreciates what I'm doing for him. Friendship over boredom!"
