Nate Archibald love story

Chapter 5

Amy's PoV:
It was 6:45pm and I had just finished getting ready for Blairs party. I wore a blue knee length dress with a black belt around the middle and small black heels. I had my hair down in curls and just had basic make up on. I was just sat waiting for Nate to pick me up when my phone buzzed. Surprise surprise it was a gossip girl blast!
Gossip Girl: Blairs big party tonight! Who's going? I know I am, looking forward to seeing what everyone gets up too! See you all there, xoxo gg.

This just made me even more cautious about something bad happening tonight, it's not that I don't want to go to the party it's just that I haven't met many of the people that are going to be there and I'm not sure what they're going to be like, what if they don't like me? "Oh stop thinking like that!" I whisper to my self feeling stupid.
About 10 minutes after the gossip girl blast, I hear a knock at the door, so it must be Nate.
I walk over to the door and open it to reveal a very handsome looking Nate. I smile to myself as he says "You look amazing."
Still with a smile on my face, I reply
"Don't look too bad yourself Archibald."
"Are you ready then?" He asks reaching for my hand.
"I think so yeah."
With that I take Nate's hand and walk out the door closing it behind me.
Why was I even nervous? It will be fine I think to myself.

As we approach the limo, Nate opens the door for me and I thank him as I get in, with him following behind me.

As we pull up outside of the building of Blairs apartment I actually begin to get a little excited about meeting some new people, I think it will be good to get to know some more people and now I am confident that Nate is here for me I feel more reassured that it will be fine.
"Are you ready then?" Nate asks me as he takes my hand.
"Yep, let's go in."I reply
We both get out of the limo and make our way up to Blairs Apartment.
As the doors of the lift were closing, Nate smiles and turns to face me pulling me closer to him and giving me a long soft kiss on the lips.
"Not that I'm complaining or anything but what was that for?" I ask him blushing slightly as I wasn't expecting it.
"Because... I... I think I'm in love with you Amy... I know we haven't known each other that long but I don't care all I know is that I've been falling for you ever since we met and you just make me so happy, I just needed to tell you."
I can't believe he just said that! I was so shocked I really wasn't expecting it but it made me realise that I think I feel the same way.
I kissed him again and as I pulled away I said "I think I love you too Nate."
The doors of the lift then opened and we walked into the party hand in hand and a smile on our faces. I've got a feeling this is going to be a great night after all!
