Bruises and Caresses

Chapter 15: 3 months later..

It had been about 3 months since Eren was released from the hospital, and his limbs had fully healed. He was able to walk and move with any pain. Eren and Levi were currently driving home from the hospital. "I feel like it's been forever since I've been home.." Eren said.

"That's because it has been forever." Levi replied. Eren smiled, "I practically forgot what the apartment looks like.. Is it still the same?"

"What, you think just because you were sick I'd let the apartment go to hell?" Levi said as they pulled in the drive. Eren giggled, "Same old clean freak Levi.." He thought as he smiled. Levi tried helping Eren up the steps. "Levi, I can walk on my own you know.."

"Zip it, brat. I'm not letting anything happen to you again, understand?"

Eren let out a small laugh. He kind of liked this overprotective and doting Levi.. "He's so caring.. I'm so lucky.." he thought to himself.  

"Alright, here we are.." Levi said as he opened the door. "Home sweet home." Everything was in order. From the couch to the coffee table, everything in the kitchen was organized as well. "So, what do you think?" Levi asked. "Better than a hospital bed with shitty food or what?" Eren smiled as he wrapped his arms around Levi. "Anywhere with you is better.." Levi returned the hug. "I'm never letting anything happen to you again.." 

Eren kissed his cheek, "You can't see the future though.. We can't always prevent stuff from happening, that's just life.."

"I don't care.. You ARE my life, and I'm not letting anything happen to you. I know I can't prevent the future.. But I'll do my best to protect you as much as I can." Levi replied.

Eren blushed, he loved how caring Levi truly was, and how he'd do anything to protect him. "Oh, look, you're blushing.." Levi said in a playful tone as he kissed Eren's cheeks. "Ah! Levi, that tickles~!" Eren said. "Oh really..?" Levi said as he started tickling him. 

"Ah! Levi!" Eren laughed, "St-stop, ah!" Levi pushed him to the couch and continued to tickled him. "How does that feel?" He laughed. "L-Levi, stop! Aha! It tickles, Levi!" 

"That's for scaring me for six months straight, you brat!" Levi laughed. 

"Aha, ah! That, that's it!" Eren said as he started tickling Levi. "E-Eren!" 

"How does that feel?" Eren laughed. "N-no, stop! Ah! Th-that tickles, Eren!" Levi laughed out. 

"Haha! Never!" They both laughed loudly until Eren got to close to the edge causing them both to fall on the floor. Levi fell on top of Eren, their faces with centimeters away from each other, slight blush rising on their cheeks. "Eren.." Levi whispered as he caressed his cheek. 

"Levi.." Eren said, wrapping his arms tightly around Levi's neck. They starred into each others eyes for what felt like hours. "I love you so much.." Levi said as he leaned down to kiss Eren gently. 

"I love you too.." Eren replied. They hugged each other tightly as if for dear life. "I've missed you so much, Levi.."

"Eren.." Levi began. "I have an idea.."

"What's that?" 

Levi pulled away from the hug, "Lets get married."
