The Doctor was surprised that he wasn't dead. In fact, he hadn't felt any pain at all. He had just heard a faint popping sound, then something small hit him in the chest and bounced off.

The Doctor looked down at the floor and saw a single, lone piece of popcorn.

"How...?" the Doctor wondered out loud.

More popcorn began popping out of the Dalek. First slowly, with a few seconds in between each piece, then it gradually shot out the popcorn more rapidly.

"What is this?" the Dalek asked as it began to spin. "Explain! Explain!"

"Run!" the Doctor exclaimed. He once again took off running with Pinkie Pie and Black Mist right behind him, just as the head of the Dalek flew off and popcorn spilled out of it like a geyser.

They ran and ran as fast as they could, making turn after turn. Eventually, they somehow managed to leave the castle and ended up back in the city.

Still, they ran.

Soon, after a minute or two, they ran into an alley and hid amongst some crates. "That was close," the Doctor said, panting. "Are you two alright?"

"I'm fine," Mist replied. "Pinkie?"

There was no answer, only silence. The Doctor and Mist looked around, but Pinkie wasn't there.

"Where is she?!" the Doctor exclaimed.

"I don't know." Mist replied, still looking around. "We must have lost her somewhere. We did take a lot of turns."

"Yeah. I guess she..." the Doctor began, but he was interrupted by a crate tipping over, which was followed by a shriek.

"Is that...?" Mist wondered out loud. Then, he walked over to the fallen crate. He put his front hooves on top of it and looked behind it. "Fluttershy!" he exclaimed.

"Mist!" a voice from behind the crate exclaimed. Then a yellow pony with a pink mane jumped from her hiding spot and talked Mist in a giant hug. "Oh, I'm so glad you're here!"

"Where are the others?" Mist asked.

"I don't know," Fluttershy replied, helping Mist up. "We broke off into groups of two and a little bit later Pinkie Pie got..."

"Wait, Pinkie was your partner?"

"Yeah, why?"

"We sort of ran into her. Literally."

"Where is she now?"

"We don't know. We barely escaped the Daleks, and we lost her."

"Sorry to break up the reunion," the Doctor cut in. "But we really should keep moving. There are Daleks everywhere and they could easily..."

"You are surrounded," a new voice broke in as Daleks closed in on all sides, surrounding the three ponies. "Surrender or be exterminated."

"Doctor," Mist whispered. "What do we do?"

"The only thing we can do, Mist," the Doctor replied, also in a whisper. Then, he walked up to the Dalek that had spoken and said, "We surrender."
