The haunted house

Moving In

One sunny morning the Helen family was moving house onto Jelly street. So they set off, when they arrived Polly and Harry, the children, asked if they can go to their new room's, their parents said they could, but then Polly screamed, "AAAAAAAAAA!!!"
Mum and dad came up running up the stairs shouting, "what's wrong Polly"
"There was a dead person in my room!" She exclaimed.
"No! Don't be silly Polly."
"I'm not being silly mum and dad!"
"We know there are no dead people in the house."
"AAAAAAAAA!!!" Screamed mum
"What darling?" Asked my dad looking stunned.
"Th...ere...th...ere was a BAT!" She shrieked
"No there was not darling." Said dad making movements with his hands trying to calm her down.
"See dad, there are haunted things that live here!" I said proud to be right.
"Okay, so maybe you were right about there being some bats here. But there are no dead bodies! And just asking where is Harry?" He asked confused.
"I don't know." I said getting slightly worried but trying to not let it register on my face.
"Harry? Oh Harry?" Dad called getting more concerned with every word. But Harry did not awnser. All that could be heard in the deafingly silent house was a low gowl.
"Polly go and check on your little brother." Mum said coming out of her state of shock.
"Okay mum." I said getting very concerned, what if the killer of that dead body had got Harry... No the thought of that... It couldn't be...
So I went to find Harry. I finally came across him in a bedroom exploring what was in his case, "Hi Harry! what are you doing?" I asked, relived to have found him.
"I'm unpacking." He replied calmly.
"Okay." I said.
I then knew that we were all happy, and nothing. Nothing. Could ruin this moment.
But all off a sudden the light went out. But it wasn't that that freaked out the most.
"MUM DAD!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as a pair of bright green pupiless eyes stared at me. Digging into my soul, reading my thoughts and face like a book.
