"I'm sorry to drag you along Light, I have no real destination. Well, I have business but that doesn't need to be dealt with right away." L goes back to staring blankly out the window.

Light- 'No real destination? Not dealing with business right away? Where is L going and why and I coming along? Maybe he know something about Kira... No he would have told the others...

"I've need shown anyone else." L mutters quietly

"What?"

"Nothing. Light, you look tired. " L turns back to face Light again.

"I look tired? Ha Ryuzaki, you look worse than I do."

"Yes. I suppose so, I suffer from insomnia-" He says quietly "Still, as a concerned friend, I think you should take a break every now and then. So, I tell everyone at task force."

"I guess so, but we still don't know if Kira is out there." Light says with a yawn.

"You know, seeing that this case is at a stand still, it's not necessary for everyone in the task force to stay at headquarters."

"I suppose you're right Ryuzaki, though we tend to get more cases done there then the station... Do you not want us there anymore?"

"No. I've become use to the company-
I think I do enjoy having, friends."

"Well what ever you say Ryuzaki, after all you're the one who build headquarters. " Light leans back. There's a long pause.

"Goodnight, Light Yagami. " L says in a whisper.

"What, I'm not tired-"

Light passes out after a few hours of driving.

"Huh? Where-" Light wake L's up in an unfamiliar room. He sits up in the bed and looks around its a hotel maybe. He reaches over to turn on the light. It's a small room with a small kitchen, sitting area and two beds across the room from each other.

Light- ' Huh? No one else is here. Last I remember I was in the car with- I passed out! Damn I feel like and idiot I wonder if Watari and Ryuzaki brought me here? Was I trouble, still I don't know the point of this trip anyway.'

A sound of voices come from the other room. Light gets up and walks to the door of the sitting room.

Light- 'This looks like a pretty expensive hotel, I think I hear Ryuzaki in the other room. I want an explanation. '

Light walks into the room L is sitting at a lap top.

"No, even I make mistakes. It's part of human nature, I'd hate to admit it though. Guess I'm stubborn." Giggling is head from the other side of the screen. Light steps closer to see, when L turns around. He stares at Light for a moment, smiles and then motions for him to come over.

-So just a reminder this is a yaoi story and it's coming up I sweat I just wanted a little back story I guess instead of pulling a "life note" story.
