I layed down on my bed and started thinking about what I just did. I got out my diary and started writing.
Dear diary,
I thought I was done with James but obviously I'm not because of what happened in the bathroom.
He lead me on honestly but I should've stopped him when I had the chance.
Now he's coming back.
Back to where he was kicked out of. I just hope that we talk and understand each other before we get intimate again.
Worried,
Charice
Real world....
I hid the diary and lay ed down just to hear a knock at the door.
I slightly smiled knowing we were going to finish what we started.
I put on my robe over my bra and panties and I checked the peep hole.
It wasn't James it was Trey.
'What the heck he over here for at 10 at night?' I thought.
"Yes?" I asked through the door.
"Hey Charice can we talk?" I could hear tears in his voice.
I opened the door.
"What's wrong?" I asked examining him.
His eyes were red and he just had on his basketball shorts and t-shirt looking as if he was in bed.
"I-can I come in?" He asked looking down.
"Sure." I moved so he could come in and he flopped down on the couch.
I stared at him and he put his head in his hands.
"Don't judge me please." He begged.
"I won't. Why are you crying Trey?" I asked sitting next to him.
He looked me in my eyes and then turned all his attention towards me.
"Denise...she broke up with me!" He started crying all over again.
"Aw! I'm so sorry! Come here!" I said opening my arms.
He hugged me and cried on my shoulder.
"I've never seen you like this Trey...you must've really loved her."
He took a few deep breaths and then sat up.
"We knew each other since high school. She was my best friend and we hadn't seen each other since senior year and we got back together last year. We had sex like a week ago and I thought it we was good until she told me she was married and then she just dropped me over the phone."
I was surprised he was telling me this and now I understand why he was crying. I thought it was kinda cute.
"Trey I'm so sorry." I hugged him softly and then moved back still in his arms.
I stared him in his eyes and felt his pain.
"Me and James broke up too. But I don't know how to react now."
"I know. I kinda heard yall arguing but I didn't say anything even though I was super tired."
I blushed with embarrassment at what he said.
"Well I'm sorry you heard that but he was really being a jerk." I said sitting back on the couch.
"Yeah, that's how I feel about Denise right now."
I handed him some tissues as he wiped his nose and mouth.
"You ok now?" I asked rubbing his back.
"Yeah. I thank you so much for being a shoulder to cry on and make me dinner."
"You already thanked me for dinner but you are very welcome." I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Well I would love to repay you for all you've done by taking you out tomorrow night." He said standing up.
"That would be amazing."
"Cool. So see you at 9:30?"
"Yeah sure." I said walking him to the door.
He stepped out and we said good night.
I went back to bed and I just stared at the ceiling.
After about a good hour I fell asleep.
"Babe." I heard somebody whisper.
"Huh?" I groaned turning on my side.
I felt hands grip my side and turn me over.
"What?" I yelled.
Then when I realized it was James I started giggling.
"Hey." I sat up rubbing my eyes.
"You tired?" He asked sitting down next to me.
"Well I'm just in between." I smiled turning to him.
"I can totally put you to sleep." He said kissing my nose.
I scrunched my face and then looked him in his eyes.
"Trey had came over a while ago and he was upset about his break up with Denise."
His face turned into a confused look.
"Why he came to you, for comfort?"
I shrugged.
"I don't appreciate that. He should've went crying to his momma."
"Why you think he was crying?" I asked looking in his slightly agrevated eyes.
"He seems like one of those act inocente to steal another nigga girl."
"Really? Men who cry don't steal other men's women."
"Yes they do. I know from my parents relationship."
"That is something totally different and in a whole nother era of time! And he isn't like that. I promise you."
I said remembering he asked me to dinner tomorrow night.
"Ok so he can't come crying to you without questioning your relationship with him. He probably said something like 'I hope you don't see me as a weakling because I'm not! I just really appreciate your company though and I hope we can talk more!"
He said mocking Trey with a granny voice.
I sucked my teeth.
"Like you ain't never cry over a girl before."
"Not you." He said turning to me.
"Yes you have just not in front of me." I turned to him.
"And how would you know that?"
I was silent.
"I thought so. I ain't one of those niggas that cry about girls especially girls like you!"
"Girls. I'm a woman first off and that's why you can't keep women like me because you like younger girls. That's why we broke up in the first place. You wanna go after girls!" I said getting agrevated.
"Well I don't care because I know I didn't come here to argue with you."
"I know. You want me to have sex with you and finish off what we started but now I'm not in the mood no more so you can leave."
He sucked his teeth and got up.
"You know your really confusing. I know you want me just as bad as I want you so stop fronting!" He yelled.
"I'm not fronting, I'm just not in the mood anymore so bye!"
I said folding my arms across my chest not phased by his attitude.
"I'm going but I will be back for you. You gone wish you never stopped loving me." He shrugged before walking out and slamming the front door.
After a few minutes I fell asleep.
