Once Upon a Nightmare

vampires?...yeah right

It was around 9:30 and it was already dark outside. It was pouring rain outside and I had to bike home. Luckily I only lived about 4 miles west of the gym I was currently taking shelter in. A member of the staff approached me and said "sorry miss but this establishment closes at 9:30, and it's about 9:35 and I have too close up" I got up and walked out the doors not saying anything too the staff member.
As soon as my foot touched the wet concrete sidewalk outside the gym, I was greeted by gallons upon gallons of rain. I put my hand above my eyes to serve as a visor and soon located my bike. I crossed the street and unlocked it from the metal lamp post I had attached it to.
I started biking through the park under what little coverage the trees provided. My house was on the other side of the park and a small building in the middle of the park served as a half way mark.
As I approached the building I jumped off my bike and ran into the women's bathroom. I slowed just outside the bathroom, when I heard someone humming. I slowly peered around the bathroom corner.
There stood a tall slender woman applying what looked like at least her third layer of red lipgloss. But there was something odd about her I looked in the mirror only too see nothing staring back at her. I gasped thinking of the only person, or I guess I should say creature that had no reflexion. "VAMPIRE!!!!" I yelled and the woman spun fast around and hissed at me showing me her two milk white fangs.
I spun around and jumped on my bike and biked the rest of the way too my house in record time. I ran into the house leaving my bike on the porch. "Are you okay honey you look you just saw a ghost" said my mother when I enter the kitchen out of breath and panting like a dog. "Something like that" I mumbled under my breath so she couldn't hear me. I kissed my mom on the cheek and ran upstairs too my room. "Aren't you hungry, after your long gymnastics practice darling?" my mom asked a tone of worry in her voice. "No mom I'm fine I had a big lunch goodnight" I replied trying to sound as normal as possible. "Okay goodnight" my mom said slightly confused.
I ran into my room and shut the door. I fell onto my bed and lay there thinking. The last thing I can remember before I fell asleep was saying "vampires...yeah right" and with that final taught I fell asleep

Okay so this is my first story and I know it's short but I'm typing this on my phone and it's harder to write more on my phone. I'll try to write longer story's soooooo ummmmm yeah no more needs said.
