You know when you scratch a CD and it plays one part over and over? That is like my life. Over and Over and Over and Over and Overand Overand Overand Overand Over. I was first born in 10BC. I wont bore you with those details, anything before 15AD is now a blur. Let me tell you about my second time i was born. My first Do-Over if you will. I'm the only one who remembers though. 7:38 pm 17th June 15AD

I told him not to do it. But he never listens. I old him we had enough. But we didn't. That's the point. We didn't have enough. And that's why he was flogged. And that's why he's gone.

The stall was to left. He went over.

'Where did he get the money' I had thought. Then it hit me.

"Lazarus! No! Lazarus don't!" But he never listens. Never. "Laz, please , we have enough fo-"

"No Joanna, we don't have enough! We never have enough! One loaf cant hurt..." He trailed of, because he knew. He'd seen a flogging before. The blood. The screams.The tears...

He said it cant hurt, But it hurt him. It hurt him a lot. He charged towards me, grabbed my hand, told me to cover my face. He screamed at me to cover my face. I did. We ran and ran. It was all a blur. We were home. It was all a blur. We hid the loaf. It was all a blur. We were fine. It was all a blur. We were fine for a week. It was all a blur. Then they came for him. On the day of the flogging the whole town grieved. Lazarus always put others before his own needs. This wasn't right. He looked me in the eye. This wasn't right. He smiled. This wasn't right. Then he was tied up.I shut my eyes tight. But i still heard the awful thunderous crack of the whip. Then the screams that echoed round my head for my last few days.

Joanna Williams pronounced dead, 7:38 pm 19th June. Cause of death, crushed under donkey.
