You woke up next to him, his brown hair messed up, his quiff no longer existent. His eyelids fluttered occasionally, eyes almost open. Those perfect lips you loved, were half open, muttering quiet things. You felt his grip tighten around your waist and he pulled you into him. You smiled and pecked his lips gently, watching his eyes open and study you, before kissing you back. You smiled and pulled away, before turning over and letting him cuddle into you.
Suddenly, you felt a sharp nauseating feeling arise in your stomach, and you jumped out of bed to the bathroom across the hall. You didn't know why but you were being sick. You felt Calum hold your hair back, and he rubbed your lower back. You felt calmer but you were still vomiting.
As soon as you were done, you brushed your teeth straight away, and went to Cal for a hug. He pulled you into him, stroking your hair. "Does this mean what I think it means?" He asked you. You looked up into his coffee brown eyes, and shrugged. You were nervous, hoping you weren't pregnant. This would put so much stress into Calum's career life, and your work life, but you knew that if you came across this choice, you'd have to deal with it. He pulled you back into him, hugging you tight, before turning the shower on and jumping in. "Are we going somewhere babe?" You asked. Calum didn't usually get up this early let alone shower this early.
"Yes hon, we're going to the store. Getting a test, sweets and ice cream because i'm hungry." You giggled at his immaturity and freshened up before putting on black skinnies and a tank top with Vans. As soon as Cal was done, you two both jumped in his SUV and went to the store.
Finding a ClearBlue test, Haribos and Ben&Jerrys, you paid and left. For the whole car ride home, your hands were shaking, getting clammy with nervousness. Calum noticed and put his hand on yours, stroking it with his thumb.
Jumping out of the car, you ran straight upstairs into the bathroom, eager to get this test over and done with. While waiting for the result, you sat on the counter next to the sink. Twiddling your thumbs you didn't even notice Cal standing in front of you. You looked into his dark eyes, and hugged him tightly. Hearing a continuous beeping sound, Calum grabbed the test before you could. "What does this mean?" He asked, so innocently.
A little pink +.
"Cal....you're gonna be a dad." You said, still looking at the test in your lap. Suddenly you were being lifted into the air, your boyfriend spinning you round as if you'd won the lottery. He was happy at least. He put you down, a tear of joy rolling down his cheek.
"If its a boy we are calling it Kaiden and if its a girl we shall name her Cailah and she will probably have your eyes or nose and oh my god I have to call the guys, what if they do-" you cut off his babbling with a passionate kiss. He kissed you back harder evidently happier than he'd ever been.
"This is the best thing that's ever happened to us. I'm gonna be here every step of the way my sweet." He said, kissing your forehead. You hugged one last time before he skipped away on his phone.
It was true.
It was the best thing that ever happened to you and Cal.
You thought, looking up into his eyes on your wedding day, a year and a half later. Your thoughts were interrupted by your son, Kaiden Calum Hood.
He even had his quiff.
