Chapter One - Coming Out (And Flying Out)

Mark's POV

'I need to do this', I thought to myself, staring at the home screen on my computer. It was time people knew. I went to turn on my camera and start possibly the most important video I've ever done, but something stopped me. 'What will people think?', I wondered. 'Do they need to know? What if people don't accept it?' All of my thoughts quickly turned to those of worry and anxiety but I eventually cleared my mind and focused on what needed to be done.

I turned on the camera, and pressed record.

"Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier! There's....something that's been on my mind for a while now, and I feel like...oh god this is hard." I hit the pause button and thought about what I was going to say.

PING

My computer flashed up to show that Sean had sent me a message on Facebook.

Sean: Hey dude, how's things?
Mark: Hi, things are alright I guess
Mark: what's up?
Sean: you remember how I said about doing a collab at some point?
Mark: yeah, why? Are you going to be visiting soon?

The three dots danced for a long time before Sean replied to me.

Sean: I'll be honest with you, a couple of my viewers found out where I lived, and they've been harassing me for a while now
Sean: don't get me wrong, I love that people want to see me and stuff, but these people are really annoying, and they've told other people where I am and shit, so I decided I'm gonna have to move :-(
Mark: Aw, I'm sorry to hear that, hope you're ok man
Sean: yeah well I think I found a nice place a bit away that I might go for, but it's gonna take a month before I can move in, so I'm going to take some time to come over to you guys in L.A. I'm flying over in a couple of days
Mark: Really?!? That's great! :-))) Do you have somewhere to stay?
Sean: yeah, I've booked a hotel about 15 minutes away from you, I thought that would make it easier to collab if u wanted. Anyway, I'll talk tomorrow about it, need to go just now, see ya later dude
Mark: ok, bye Sean :-)

'Oh my god, this is amazing!', I thought. I always loved it when Sean came to visit, he was such a great laugh and just amazing to be around. And, well, I'd kind of become more and more attracted to him over the past year. He's actually part of the reason I wanted to tell people in the first place. "This is a great opportunity!" I thought to myself, wondering about what could happen when he was over. Soon enough, I remembered why nothing could ever happen between us; he has a girlfriend AND he's straight.

Still.....

I pressed record on my camera once again.

"I don't want any of you to think any less of me, but I feel like this is something you all need to know. I'm....gay. Yeah. DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING, DID YA? Sorry, but yeah. It's true.....<le time skip> so thanks for taking the time to watch this, and as always, I will see you in the next video. Bye!"

I had said what I wanted so I posted to YouTube for all of my viewers to see. I just hoped that people weren't too mean about it. Part of me hoped that maybe Sean would post the same thing back, but of course, he wouldn't. One can hope....

Ok, that's Part One done, I hope you like it. If you want to see more chapters, please tell me as I really enjoyed writing this, and I have the whole story kind of figured out anyway. Sorry if this first bit seems a bit slow or boring, just trying to set a scene :-)
