L x Light Death Note Fan-fic

Title

Light sit on his own bed, and L lays down. Minutes go by, two hours pass. Right as Lights about to pass out he can see because the moon light streaming through the window that, L is still awake. Light gets up groggily and walks over. L doesn't seem to notice.

L- I can't help but fall back again and again. The depression gets to me all the time yet, I have friends, this job and Watari is like family. Still this oh so familiar feeling that sends chills down my spine. Loneliness. I-'

L's thoughts are interrupted by, a loud plop next to him. Before he can turn arms wrap around him, he tenses up.

"You really are stubborn huh?"
Light says sleepily beside him. Their bodies are pressed up against eachother, Lights warm breath grazes L's neck. He felt paralyzed but also an overwhelming sense of... happiness.

"Light?" L continues to lay still unable to relax.

"I'm not leaving until you're asleep," he yawns "Let's just say this is pay back for the other morning."
Soon Light trifts off, L relaxes a little.

L- ' What's this? I... I've never been held like this. My heart is beating uncontrollably. What's this feeling? Light Yagami, could I actually-"

L turns and faces Light, who has by this point loosened his grip. L scoots just so there's just about a foot between them. He feels his face burning.

"Light..." He says quietly shaking Light a little. He moves closer hesitantly. "Light."

"Hmm?" Light responds without opening his eyes.

"Can you-" L pauses his heart beating uncontrollably, his face goes red.

"Can you say my name again?"

"Hmm? Why?" Light mumbles about to doze off again.

"Please, Light."

"Lawliet..." Light mutters barely audible.

L- ' This feeling. I want to feel his forever. Light, please don't leave me...'
L falls asleep, within seconds.

* * *

"Hmm?" L wakes up sun light streaming through the windows. He's sprawled out on Light's chest he gets off slowly feeling slightly embarrassed. Then he crawls out of bed and heads to the kitchen.
A few minutes later Light wakes up.

"L..?" He sleepily gets out of bed to see L sitting in a chair watching him.

"Ah!" He stumbles backwards hitting his head on the head board.

"Sorry to scare you. I brought cake." Light looks on the night stand were a fresh piece of cake sits.

"Uh thanks."
Light sits up rubing his head

"If you keep this up I'm going to get a concussion." Light says with a laugh, and L gives him a concerned look.
"Its a joke L."

"Watari went into town he said he'll be back later." L says staring at Light.

"Huh? Light, your bleeding." L turns and grabs a napkin of the table.

"Ah, It just a nose bead. I'll be fine." L moves onto the bed handing Light the paper towel.

"Here. You should let me check just in case." L moves really close to Light's face.

"Ah, L I'm fine."

"Hold still let me check." L stares into Light's eyes with a concerned yet concentrated face. Checking for sings of a concussion though, Light didn't hit his head that hard.

Light- 'Ah he's so close. I can barely think I'm tempted to look away but he won't let me. What's this my face is heating up? Calm down... this is just- His eyes... their so...'

"You're okay. Better safe then sorry." L moves away, but is stopped by Light. Light grabs him so their faces are close again and just stares. L's face turns bright red the sit there, practically forehead to forehead. L's sprawled out awkwardly on top of Light, no one moves a muscle.

-Ohhh wonder what's Lights thinking, guess you'll have to read on to find out. ;) I really shouldn't be allowed to write at all. Just a thanks to my friend letting me use this account to write this. XD
