Maddie's pov
I wake up to someone shaking me and yelling my name. Startled I hide under my blankets from this bitch.

"I'm sorry princess. Did I scare you?" The voice asks me laughing.

I jump up and punch forward hitting the chest of the one and only Luke Hemmings. He rubs his chest still laughing at me and I groan.

"What do you want Hemmings?" I ask him annoyed.

"Moms going out tonight and will be back tomorrow. Ashton Micheal and Calum are coming over so maybe you should invite your friends," he says to me.

"I'll see if they're interested," I say.

"Yes! I'm definitely coming over. After school I'm going with you," says Ariana over excited.

I laugh and nod looking at Claudia and Savannah.

"What about you guys. You wanna go to the Hemmings' house tonight!" I ask them.

"Sure I've got nothing better to do anyways so I'm in," says Claudia.

"Aight if everyone else is going I'll go too so I don't feel left out," Savannah says laughing.

I nod and we all leave the frozen yogurt place we always go to when it's break. It's about five minutes away from our school so we go there all the time. There's other stores too. There's McDonalds, Wendy's, Starbucks, a gas station, Twice The Deal and a nail salon.

When we get onto the school property I see Conner and find myself walking faster. He looks at me and his eyes show fear, worry, and sadness. It almost makes me feel bad, but then everything he has done doesn't. I keep walking and the girls have to run to catch up to me. Savannah grabs my arm and pulls me back.

"What's wrong?" She asks me worried.

"Conner," I say and that was enough for them because they started walking faster with me.

We enter the school and the bell rings.

"I'll see you after school guys! Bye!" I say to them walking down the hall to my next class because I already have my books.

I hear a course of yeps and goodbyes and enter my next class.

I hop in my car and wait for the girls so I turn on the radio. 107.5 comes on and the station is playing American Idiot by Green Day. I smile an sing along with the music loud and the windows rolled up. As I'm doing this Ashton bangs on my window attempting to scare me and I just look at him slowly with a glare still singing my song. He frowns and I smile at him making his eyes lighten a little. Then somebody grabs me and I jump swinging my arm to the back of my car. I look behind me and I see Calum. I groan and slap him causing him to laugh. I look at Ashton who is also laughing. I glare at him and kick Calum out of my vehicle. By now the girls are here and they looki at the two douche nozzles weird not knowing what's going on. I unlock my car and they all get in. I pull out of the parking space and drive away from the boys still laughing. It takes about five minutes to get to Luke's house and I'm surprised that I didn't get in trouble for missing school yesterday. I'm not going to do that again. Claudia and Ariana are talking about Game Of Thrones cosplays and Savannah and I are singing along with the Rolling Stones song which happens to be Honky Tonk Woman.

I pull up the driveway and turn my car off. As we walk up the stairs to his house I hear a scream coming from near the forest. That's weird. The girls push to get inside and I follow them. When I shut the door Oreo comes running down the stairs like a racing horse. Excitedly he jumps on the girls and then runs over to me. I pick him up and he stars licking my face. I shake my laugh and kiss the top of his head.
