With another predicted rain storm the night became dark in an instant. A small sick boy with cat ears and a tail lay curled up on a wide dark blue couch a rag that was once on his head now dropped on the floor. A box of tissues, a glass of water, cold medicine, and a bowl of ice water say on a coffee table. The boys eyes are closed and rain pours down while his dreams move on in unexpected ways.

~~~~Nico's Dream~~~~
A ray of light pierced the cloud filled sky seeming to fall right on the boy walking down the small side road once again. A cat with midnight blue eyes watched from a tree as the blond haired teenager walked along smiling at nothing and looking happy. The cat in the tree climbed slowly down, trying to summon the courage to approach this human. He's been walking down the cats road for as long as the cat could remember and he's seen him stop and pet other stray cats before, so maybe he'll let this cat too. Maybe he might even take him home! Maybe he would hold him and love him!
The cat stopped and watched as the boy walked on, the cat once again lost its chance to make the boy notice him. If only he were human, then he would see him better. Humans are too big not to notice. The cat climbed down walking along the road going back to its little home, which was a space under a thorn bush not the best place to live but the cat has been safe so far. Now all he needs to do is wait for the boy to come back down that road tomorrow then for sure the cat can make the boy notice him!
~~~~End of Dream~~~~

Nico wakes up slowly opening his eyes to the bland light that allows him to see a figure walking toward him. For a second the figure stops then a sweet husky voice comes from the darkness, "You awake Nico?" Nico sits up and nods slowly rubbing his still tired eyes. "You think you can eat?" Nico nods again sluggishly putting his legs off the couch. "Alright, you wait there, I made some chicken noodle soup." Nico watches the tall boy retreat and smiles to himself. In the kitchen Will gets Nico a tray and a bowl of soup and does the same for himself, having not eaten yet either. He grabs the bread he had buttered not long ago and puts it into the trays.

"Hey, Will?" Nico calls from the living room.

"Yeah?" Will answers back arranging the trays dishes so they won't fall when he carries them.

"Umm do you ever remember seeing me before on that road?" Nico asks his voice a little unsure of itself.

"Well, yeah. I'm pretty sure I've seen you quiet a few times but you were always kind of hidden away in a tree or out of reach," Will answers picking up the trays. "I always wondered if you were watching me or something, but that's ridiculous right? It's just you probably lived there, so of course I would see you every so often," Will says as he sets down the trays on the coffee table. Walking over he switches on the light finally able to see the other boy clearly and detailed. Nico looks away from him and instead looks at the steaming soup sitting on the table.

"So, umm," Nico starts gulping when he feels the couch next to him sink in. Avoiding looking at Will, Nico tries to pick up the bowl of soup. Whipping his hands back, he whines, "That's hot."

"Yeah, let it cool for a minute, or you could pick up the tray to hold it," Will says picking up his own tray and setting it on his lap. Nico looks at the tray and slowly picks it up, trying to carefully set it down without spilling it all over. Managing to set it down without fail Nico smiles. Will catches sight of his prideful smile and smiles himself. "Alright, blow it lightly off before you put it in your mouth, like this," Will says demonstrating how to eat the soup. Nico watches him then copies him getting a good spoonful of soup successfully into his mouth. Will then shows him that he can fold up the buttered bread and dip it into the soup or eat it plain. Nico chose to dip it like Will is and gets soup dripping down his chin. "You got soup on your chin," Will says laughing lightly. Nico licks his chin getting the trail of soup. Will tries not to notice how long his tongue is and goes back to eating. Turning on the TV to fill the silence Will is already halfway through his bowl, while Nico is only making a small dent in his own.
