I woke in complete darkness, familiar darkness, darkness that I had woken up to all my life. I got up, my bare feet hit the cold white tile of my dorm room floor, I made my way to the bathroom slowly, the light was blinding to my sleepy eyes, but I soon recovered. I jumped in the shower and quickly washed my body and hair. When I stepped out of the shower, I heard my roommate shuffling outside the door. I wrapped my towel around my body and opened the door.

My best friend and roommate was standing outside the door tapping her foot impatiently. "It's about damn time!" Scarlet complained. "Sorry." I said sheepishly walking past her. She just sighed and stepped into the bathroom softly closing the door behind her.

I walked over to the farthest door from the bathroom, I opened it and stepped into my small closet. My clothes lined one wall hanging on white hangers, my shoes lined the other wall on shelves. Now I had three colors of clothes to choose from; white, grey and black, I had three shirts, three pairs of pants, three skirts, three nice shirts and six pairs if shoes and you guessed it three nice pairs and three every day pairs I had one of everything in the three colors. Oh and I had three sweatshirts too. Now It sounds like a lot but in reality it's not. I picked out my usual outfit which consisted of a black t-shirt, black denim jeans and some black tennis shoes or as I call them my every day shoes.

I stepped out of my closet after changing and stepped to the only mirror in the room. My dorm room was preety small but not to small, on one wall was a bunk bed beside that there was a vanity with a mirror, some hair ties, a hair bursh and other things littered the table top. On the other wall near the vanity was the door which lead to the bathroom, the wall opposite to the bunk beds were two doors, those doors led to our closets. As I was brushing my short, wavy ,dirty blonde, hair, Scarlet stepped out of her closet dressed in a black t-shirt, a grey skirt and some black dress shoes.

She walked over to me smiling her long brown hair swaying as she walked. "Morning." she said casually picking up her hair brush, running it through her hair. "Morin." I said as I pulled my hair up into a ponytail making it as tight and as high as it would go. I waited for Scarlet to get done brushing her still damp hair, when she finished we walked out the door that was on the opposite wall as the bathroom door.

We quickly walked down the white hallway passing many other dorm rooms exactly the same as ours, we made it to the Mess Hall in the matter of minuets. As we entered I knew we were to late, all the breakfast food was gone! I sighed and we found our table, our friend Griffin was already sitting there with three food trays in front if him two full, one empty; as we sat down he pushed the two full trays towards us.

Griffin was a tall 6'2 boy with tan skin, chestnut brown hair that was kept short, aquamarine eyes with gold flecks in them, he was wearing his usual grey sweatshirt and black pants with his white tennis shoes. He had his trademark smirk plastered to his face as we ate the food he had so generously gotten us.

"Enjoying your breakfast?" he asked in his deep husky voice, smirking, a mischievous glint in his stunning aquamarine eyes

"Why, yes, thank you." Scarlet chuckled her crystal blue eyes filled with joy. I just sat there quietly eating my food as I usually did in the morning, I hate morings. Griff didn't say anything more but just there across the table from me starring at me.

"What?" I said looking at him wondering why he was starring at me. "Just addmiraing my beautiful friend eating her breakfast." he said nonchalantly smiling when I glared at him, my pale cheeks turning pink.

I quickly looked down at my food and kept eating quickly. "Aww is Raven getting embarrassed?" he said "No." I protested but I could feel my cheeks burning. "Aww I think she is." he teased.
