Lies

 I run inside the mall and I run into some guy, knocking both of us down. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry about my clumsiness!" I look up to see a nerdy looking guy, but he was kind of cute. We just kind of stared at each other for a second.

"Oh no, that was my fault! By the way, my names Josh!" He said cutely.

"My name is Mimi! Nice to meet you! Well, I have to go meet my friend, sorry!" I said trying to leave.

"Well then, may I accompany you?" He asked me politely.

"Yes!" I said a little to quickly. We walked until I saw Katelyn. I waved but she was glaring at us. But she wasn't looking at me, but at Josh. I walked up to her and she's still glaring at him. "Um, Katelyn, why are you glaring at a random guy? It's kind of creeping me out." I whispered to her.

"He's not a random guy to me. You'll see." She said hatefully. "Josh." She said acknowledging him.

"Katelyn..."he said.

"Ok how do you guys know each other? It's killing me!" I scream at them.

"Well, Mimi, me and Katelyn dated for about three days, till I dumped her for another girl." I was shocked. Katelyn never told me she ever had a boyfriend. In fact she never told me she has ever liked someone!

"Well see you later Josh!" I say trying to leave so Katelyn wouldn't kill me.

Wait! Can I have you number?" Oh no. I can't say no because that would be rude. But, I can't say yes because then Katelyn might hate me.

"Well, um, sure?"I said as I took my phone out and gave it to him. He gave me it back and I ran off saying, "Well, bye!" Katelyn and I walk towards the food court.  Then my phone buzzes. This better not be Josh!

"Um, Katelyn. I need to ask you something." I say. I'm so confused. I just need to get this out.

"Ok shoot!" She replies.

"What would you do if you had a boyfriend, and then you realize your unsure of your feelings for your best friend, who is currently mad at you?" I say. She looks puzzled.

"Excuse me? SINCE WHEN DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?!" She screams! Everyone turns around and glares at us. "Oops."

"Since today! Christian asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes!"

"Oh my god! You two would be so cute together! Wait but who's your best friend! Wait you might like Matt?!"

"Oh my god I know! And ew! No! It's kind of Cody." I say regretfully.

"Dude, you do know he is Cody Simpson right? The pop star that could have pretty much any girl?" She asks me.

"Yeah, of course! But he likes me. Well at least he did. I don't know what he thinks about me now. And he kinda just wrote a song about me, and I'm scared to listen to it..."

"Well, suck it up! We are listening to it! Search it up!" She said as I took out my phone:
