Ash, Misty, and Brock were on their way from the Kanto region to the Johto region. They were all riding on Misty's Gyrados. Suddenly Ash exclaimed "look it's a tentacruel!"
Misty, loving water types, wanted to catch the strong creature. She didn't care to weaken it so she threw a pokeball at the creature.
The tentacruel hit the pokeball away and advanced on the travelers. It grabbed Misty and dragged her underwater.
