I woke up with a jolt with sweat covering my face and I was breathing heavily, I could feel my sheets drenched in my sweat so was my pillow. I steadied my breathing and pushed the covers away and got up and headed towards my bathroom and washed my face, I looked up at my mirror and looked at my reflection and I realized how pale my face was, I splashed my face with water once more and dried it and went back to bed. I layed down without even bothering to grab the covers and I looked at my alarm clock which read 3am and I let a sigh out knowing I had to be at work later at 9am so I tried closing my eyes, once I closed my eyes the images of what most people would called a bad dream or a "nightmare" came flashing back in bits and pieces and my eyes flew back up and I knew trying to get some decent rest might be a little difficult now.
