"So, there's this girl I see in my dreams every night." Camila started, only to be interrupted by her best friend.

"That's creepy." Dinah remarked.

"No no no. It's not in a creepy away. It's in a dreamy, nice way." The older girl responded, almost dreaming away. "Anyway, I see her in my dreams every night and she's so beautiful but like every time I want to talk to her her voice goes mute. I can talk to her but I can't hear her replies and it sucks."

"Maybe it's because she doesn't exist." The Polynesian said dryly.

"She exists, I just know she does." Camila was already in a daydream about the mystery girl.

"How do you know? Maybe she's just some kind of creation of your imagination." Dinah was searching through the books in the library to find the one she needed for school. "C'mon, dwag, help me out here."

Camila pointed to a book across from her. "That's the one you're looking for." She stated simply, as if her friend hadn't been looking for it for over an hour.

Dinah grabbed the book and the two girls left the library. "Ally invited us to a party her friend Normani is throwing, wanna join?"

"Nah, I think I'll pass."

-------

Camila laid on her bed, trying to let sleep take over her.

She looked down the street. Usually, the other girl was about halfway through the street around the corner. The young girl started running down the street. Once the meetup spot was in sight Camila felt a stinging pain in her heart. The girl wasn't there.

Camila  sat down on a bench, waiting patiently for the other girl to arrive. The girl with the piercing green eyes. It felt like a century before a girl with dark hair and green eyes walked up to her.7

"Hi." The green eyed girl said. It was the first time Camila ever heard the girl's voice. It was so husky and beautiful. She could probably listen to it forever.

"Hey." Camila greeted back and the mystery girl's eyes widened.

But then the whole world around Camila went silent. She saw the dark haired girl's lips move but couldn't hear a single word that left her mouth. She heard herself reply but couldn't understand what she was saying.

This continued for a while. It always did. Neither of them wanted it to stop even though they couldn't hear each other. The only saw each other's mouths moving and their facial expressions change. That was until Camila woke up.
