Y/n and Flins goes to the cafeteria. It was buzzing with noise coming from other students. Some are talking with their friends, while others are getting their food.

The tables were almost fully taken with a few empty seats here and there. Y/n looks around for a place to sit at.

“I'll handle finding us a table while you go and be a gentleman by bringing our food there after.”

Flins raised a brow and asked in a curious manner, “How exactly am I able to manage carrying three trays at once?”

Y/n shrugs.

“Figure it out.”

With a sigh, Flins took the three trays carefully, balancing them as he made his way through the cafeteria. It was a bit tricky but he managed to reach an empty table where Y/n was already sitting in.

He placed the trays on the table gently.

“Here you go, princess. Your meal.” He said with a smirk.

Y/n rolled her eyes playfully.

“Oh, thank you so much, my knight-in-shining-armor.” She replied sarcastically. “Now, where is Jahoda? I thought she was just going to pee and get her ass here.”

Flins shrugged and sat down.

“You know how Jahoda is. She probably got distracted and got caught up chatting with someone.”

Y/n nodded, agreeing with Flins.

“Yep, that sounds about right. She has a tendency to get lost in conversations, no matter what it's about.”

While waiting for Jahoda, Flins decided to strike up a conversation with Y/n.

“Speaking of relationships,” he began, “How's things going with your love life?”

Y/n paused mid-bite of her sandwich.

“Oh, suddenly we’re diving into my romantic affairs?” she teased before shrugging. “Honestly? About as exciting as watching paint dry in the school hallway.”

Flins smirked. “So, no dramatic confessions from secret admirers slipped into your locker? No starry-eyed glances across the library?”

Y/n snorted. “Please, if anyone wrote me a note, it'd probably just be a complaint about my loud chewing during lunch— which I know you’ve thought about writing yourself.”

She shot him a pointed look before adding playfully.

“Why, though? Finally gathering intel for that gossip column you secretly run?”

Flins chuckled and held up his hands defensively.

“Hey, I'm just showing my friendly concern for my friend's love life. Or lack thereof.”

Y/n rolled her eyes. “I appreciate your concern for my lack of a love life, but I'm perfectly fine without a romantic partner, thank you very much. Besides, I have better things to focus on at the moment.”

“What about your one night stand woman from before?”

Y/n nearly choked on her juice.

“Excuse me?” she sputtered, slamming the cup down.

“What? Did I mishear when you were drunkenly bragging to Jahoda about that woman with the...” he gestured vaguely, “Quote, ‘stupidly distracting hands’ unquote?”
