I sprinted through the eclipsed darkness. The branches grabbed at my hair like hungry vultures. I stopped and looked around. My breathing was fast. But I think I finally lost them. The woods were quiet, except for the laughing of a raven in a nearby tree. I collapsed into the dirt. Taking deep breaths. I lifted my bruised hand from my side. I was still bleeding immensely. I took off my leather jacket which was soaked with blood and sweat. I needed to stitch the wound or else I would lose too much blood. I got the first aid kit out of my backpack. I opened it up and started cleaning my wound. When the wound was clean. I took out the sharp hooklike needle and clear thread and started to stitch up the wound. I flinched in pain as the needle went into my skin and back out again. When the wound was stitched up, I packed up the blood soaked cloths and the dripping needle.

When the sun drifted out of the darkness, it was near the lower part of the never ending sky, which told me it was near dusk. I needed to find food and make a shelter before it got dark. I got up off the ground, dusting off my pants, and went to find food. As I strolled up a hill I untangled the twigs and dusted out the leaves from my long crimson hair. I searched the ground for reindeer moss. When I found some of the aqua moss simmering on the ground, I bent down and started eating, they had soaked up enough water to refuel me, when I was done, I stocked my bag full of reindeer moss. When my food was finally settled, I looked up to the trees for a nice place to rest. I passed pine trees and some termite infested trees, when finally I found a nice sturdy oak tree, I decided to make this the place that I rest. I started to climb, slipping down some ways, then finding better finger holes. My new stitches pulled at my skin, making me wince. When I made it halfway up, I chose a nice sturdy branch to sleep on, tying myself to the branch, I instantly fell asleep.

I woke up to my sisters screaming, I smelt breakfast burning, and heard my mom rushing up the stairs. I throw off my covers and dash out my door to my sisters room. I arrived to my mom screaming, “Get her off me! Get her off me!” I ran up to my mom and yanked my sister off of her. My sisters mouth was dripping with my mothers blood, her newly sharp teeth had flesh stuck in them. My mom was grasping her wound with her already bloody hands, gasping for air she backed away from my sister. I looked into my sisters eyes, seeing nothing but darkness, she looked at me and came dashing across the room at a tremendous speed, knocking me over. She tried going for my throat, I used my knees and pushed her off of me, She went flying across the room, leaving a dent in the wall, and passed out. I dashed over to my mother, her breathing was rough, she told me to go, then died from blood loss. I dashed out off the house, grabbing the keys along the way, and took off.
