When Tod got home his mother asked "Hi toddy how was it with "your friends"?"
Tod didn't reply . He was too upset since he doesn't play good at all and he has never been good and realizing that all of his amazing touchdowns were by shear luck. But no skill.
A few hours later after sulking in his room thinking about what a bad player in EVERY game he's ever played he goes back to the living room where his parents were and says "I want to play lacrosse."
His parents don't say anything for a few seconds. Then his mom says " wu wu well why would you want to do that?"
"Because, you know that when I play with sparky and his tennis ball n' stick I can throw it very very far and pretty fast!"
Tod's dad chimes in " honey that is true."
But his mom comes back " But I thought you loved football?"
Tod says defending his statement "Ya I do but I'm still no good at it and I miss every catch, I can't throw, and I don't like those jocks on the 7th grade team that I would have to go on if I want to play! So that's it I'm playing lacrosse!"
