They are the ones who get away with it,

the ones that run and then they sit.

They act unknowing,

While you are down there rowing,

The water level growing,

The basement overflowing,

The broken pipes now showing.

While outside it is snowing,

While you sit down there knowing,

That they were the ones that had messed up,

They said they just wanted to hit the cup,

Wanted to knock it over with the ball,

They did not think the pipe would fall.

The water began to all spill out,

One of us let out a shout,

While it all came out of the spout,

Of the sink is when we found out.

Mom and dad began to cry,

I had already known why.

That would leave our levy dry,

So I could kiss allowance goodbye.

The troublemakers did that,

And ran away as if a rat.

I took responsibility,

Now it is my liability.

Thanks to the troublemakersthat were my friends, my cursed friend making ability.
