My name is Chelsea I'm 16 and I'm a mermaid. I live under the deep blue sea. My father, the King of the sea always warned me,telling me not to go on top the sea because my mother,the Queen was killed by humans when I was smaller. From that day my family never went to the top of the sea.
I have 77 sisters,Ariel, Safi, Basan,Kenesha,Keke,Corts,Makkie,Ashii and so on. My father hired a crab called Sebas to watch over me because I'm always up to something.
One day,my father gave Sebas a break because he saw me doing well and I wasn't up to anything anymore. But guess what,he was wrong because I just wanted him to give Sebas a day off so that I could do my sneaking ways.
My sisters were asleep,dad was polishing his crown,Sebas was looking for a new shell for himself. So I think my plan would work out. It was mid night and I sneaked out and went to the top of the sea because I wanted to see a human.
As I reached on top of the sea I glimpsed a boat so I swam near to it to check it out. When I got got near to it I peaked a little and saw men dancing and they didn't have a merman's tail and I wondered what is that they are standing on. I also saw this animal creature and I didn't even know what it was,it had furs and it keeps making this sound like thunder.
I heard someone shouting,'Chelsea!Chelsea' and when I turned around it was Sebas!
Chelsea's mind
Ugh! Now my plan is ruined. Sebas needs to get lost! He's just trying to make my life miserable I thought.
"What is your problem,Sebas?" I asked. "Get away from the humans,they are dangerous"he shouted.
Chelsea's mind
Omg!Omg! These men are humans! This is my chance. Are they that horrible as my family say they are?
Sebas's mind
Chelsea is so stubborn. She's always up to something. Should I tell her father? Yes I should. Wait he would be angry with her,but he should be. What should I do? Give Chelsea a chance?
