Lei-Rin walked slowly down the street, trying to ignore the trails floating all around him. Bluish trails that glowed faintly. He could also see the ghosts of animals and humans that have passed. He sighed, and continued walking. Lei was special and always had been. He was born with pale white hair and red eyes. an albino. as he grew older, his hair changed to a deep chocolate brown, and his eyes changed to a bluish green. He wore glasses because he was short sighted. When he first began to see ghosts, it was when his twin sister, Lena, died at age six. She follows him everywhere. After his dad died, he began to see more ghosts. When his mom died, he could see them all. He had always been able to see the ghostly trails. If he followed the ghostly trails, they usually led to the place of death, or, occasionally, the corpse itself.

He was walking ever so slowly home after a long day of school. I guess you couldn't really call it a home, but it was where he lived, to say the least. He sighed apprehensively, and continued walking. Suddenly, he stopped dead in his tracks. floating before him, meandering along, was a bluish green trail. He had never seen a bluish green trail before. It made him nervous. He quickly walked on, and passed right through it. A few feet later, he came to another bluish green trail. He walked through that one, too. But when he reached the third one, he noticed it was more brightly colored than the other two. It was a brilliant green, and he felt himself being dragged along like a piece of bark in a raging river. he followed it, unable to stop his own body from moving.

After following it for who knows how long, Lei came to a building. He dimly noted it, for he felt trapped in his own mind. It was like watching someone else do stuff. He didn't like it at all. As his body continued to move, he came to three glowing lights. eventually they lengthened, and became three ghostly triplets. One was a boy of about six, wearing shorts and a tank top, bouncing a ball nonchalantly. Something was off about him, though. He was a brilliant, healthy green instead of the sickly, faded blue ghosts usually where. The second boy was about twelve, and he was wearing knee length blue jeans, and a greenish tee-shirt. He was playing with a phone. The third was a sixteen year old. he was wearing black skinny jeans and a gray sweatshirt. he wasn't playing with anything. Suddenly, all three looked up at Lei. "Help me, mister!" Said the youngest. Lei was startled. None of the ghosts had ever talked before. "Mister, please! It hurts...." Said the second. "I'm all alone now, mister... please save me..." Said the oldest. Then, the youngest turned and walked away. The second turned and followed, along with the third.
