chapter 2

I half run, half jog up the stairs in an effort to quickly change. All I can think about now is when I turned the corner, how good Grayson looked. I stop myself from overthinking, grab my board and go back down stairs. They are both standing there at the door waiting for me Grayson is still shirtless and I'm trying not to stare or blush. we all jump on our boards and Uncle Ted and Grayson show me around Longvalley. They take me past the pristine beach and all the parks and then Grayson's school. Uncle Ted then chirps up and says,
"Skye, that's where Grayson and his twin brother ethan go to school."
Holy cow. He has a twin brother.
"Oh ok, seems like a good school", I reply.
"It's alright but anyway we should go back and Skye you should come meet Ethan and my sister Cam." Grayson adds in.
So we start heading back and I'm a little nervous to meet his brother and sister an probably his parents.
We stop riding out front of his house and we chuck our boards on his front lawn. Then he ushers me inside. He quickly takes me up the stairs to meet his brother Ethan.
"Gray is that you, if it is then hurry up I gotta talk to you about editing." I hear a voice say from down the hall.
"Yeah, yeah I'm coming Eth." Grayson replies.
We walk into Ethan's room and he turns and looks straight at me and says,
"Well hello, and who is this Gray."
To which Grayson replies,
"Oh that's my new friend Skye. She is Teds niece."
Then he winks at Ethan and at that point in feeling so nervous. Gray sits down on Eths bed and takes the laptop to help 'edit' something. So I just sit down to.
"So where are you from skye", Ethan asks,
"Oh I live in Sydney, Australia." I say happily.
"Well that's good, what is the Sydney harbour bridge like."
I'm surprised but happy that eth know about Australia.
"It looks amazing and on New Years when they put lights on it and have fireworks it's just so surreal." I say probably to enthusiastically.
"Wel you just might have to take Gray and I home with you to see it."
I'm kinda shocked at him saying this but I'm also kinda flattered. I can feel myself blush and then when I look at Gray he is staring at me smiling.
"Why are you looking at me like that", I ask.
"Because your beautiful", he replies.
Omg the hottest guy I've ever seen just called me beautiful.
"Your not so bad yourself", I add hoping it gets me somewhere.
He just sits there blushing and eth is staring at us. So to break the awkward silence I ask,
"What are you editing."
"Oh we do YouTube videos. you should watch some." he tells me.
"I might just go do that."
But when I stand up to go Grayson's sister Cam walks in.
"Oh hey", then she looks at eth and asks who I am and before eth could reply i just introduce myself,
"Oh hey I'm Skye, I'm Teds niece."
"Oh yeah I heard that his niece was coming here from, Australia was it?"
"Yeah, I live in Sydney." I politely add.
"Ok well I'm going to the store so do any of you want anything?"
I say no thanks and then eth and Gray both pipe up and and practically send her with a shopping list.
Cam then leaves and Gray suggests we go have a swim in their pool.
"Alright well I'll go get changed."
So I walk across the street back to Uncle Teds place and go upstairs to get changed. When I come down Uncle Ted is standing there smiling at me.
"Why is everybody weirdly staring at me today", I think out loud.
"You like him don't you", Uncle Ted asks.
"Well that was random but yeah kinda, he is really cute and funny.", I say back, stopping myself from sounding obsessed.
"Haha you two would be perfect together."
"Ok whatever, I'm going to there house for a swim."
"Alright have fun", he says winking at me.
"Oh I will", I say winking back at him.
We both stand there laughing for a minute and then I head out.
I walk across the street with not a care in the world other than if Gray likes me back and if this bikini looks good. Its purple and I got it also from forever 21 so it should look good but I'm just doing my normal thing and over thinking it. At that point I realise my 'no cares thing' has deffinatly gone away.
I walk onto their front yard and just go through the side gate. for some reason I start tiptoeing and then I hear Gray and eth whispering to each other. I stand at the side for a minute an listen. then I hear eth say,
"Well she is really pretty an you know I might just try date her."
Then I hear Gray reply with,
"Ah no you won't. I saw her first and she saw me first so therefore she is mine."
I cant help but blush as I come around walk around the corner coughing to mask me laughing and smiling.
"Oh hey Skye", Eth says as he puts his arm around me.
Then Gray comes up and just pushes him into the pool. It was quite funny actually and then he picks me up bridal style and jumps in.
