Chapter 4

"Oops," Brynn squeaked, seeing my furious expression. She took off, running as fast as her legs could carry her, but I was hot on her heels.

"BRYNN KALEA HARPER!!! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!!!!" I yelled, which only made her faster. By now, the whole canteen was watching us.

Just then, I pounced on her, sending us crashing to the ground. Inside, I did a little victory dance.

"Owwwwwwwww," Brynn groaned beneath me. Even though I was mad at her, I wasn't evil. I quickly got up and helped her up as well.

At that time, all eyes were still focused on us. I caught sight of Cody's chocolate brown ones winking at me. I turned my head and rolled my eyes.

Suddenly, a guy with glasses and dirty blonde hair that almost covered his eyes, stood up from the table nearest to us. He clapped his hands and announced, "Okay everyone, show's over, get back to whatever you were doing."

Everyone just shrugged and listened to him. "Thanks," I said shyly. His eyes were a mesmerizing sky blue, he was pretty cute, kinda like the opposite of Cody's hotness.

He smiled and nodded in acknowledgement. Brynn hollered, "ALEX MY MAN!!!" and embraced him in a bear hug.

Confused, I stammered, "You....you know - " I was about to continue when Brynn cut me off, she slung an arm around Alex's shoulder, "Yup! We know each other! Gray, this is Alex, Alex, this is Gray!"

She pulled me over to the nearest table where a girl and two other guys sat.

Description of people at the table:
Girl: Aqua blue hair with turquoise highlights and green contacts. Slim waist, muscular legs(probably does sports)with three piercings on her left ear and one on her right. She wore a black crop top with small spikes on the sides and a knee-length black skater skirt.
Guy next to her(most likely her boyfriend): Tousled dark-brown hair combed to the side, but still a little messy, as if he'd ran his hand through it many times. His pupils were stormy grey, and he wore a long blue-black top that almost reached his knees and leggings ripped at the knees.
Last guy: Quiffed platinum-blonde hair, sea blue eyes and a white shirt partly covered with a grey hoodie and dark wash jeans.

All in all, all of them kinda looked like they were going for a funeral.(Cos of the colors they were wearing)

Brynn shouted, "People!!!! Time to get out of anti-social mode!!!!" They looked up from whatever they were doing. She introduced me, "Everyone, meet Gray! She's new," she pointed to the girl, then her most-likely-boyfriend, and the other guy."That's Astrid, Cameron, Astrid's boyfriend and Marcus." She whispered, "He's gay. But there's nothing wrong with that, of course."

Astrid rolled her eyes. "Brynn, we can introduce ourselves, you know." The corners of her mouth curled up into a grin as she said to me, "Hi! Nice to meet you! Have a seat." She gestured to the empty seat across her. Brynn wasted no time in sliding next to me.

We started checking which classes we had together and all of them filled me in on each and every teacher.

Then, Marcus chuckled, "You and Brynn sure made quite a scene just now. Remind me not to get you angry." I quickly switched my expression to a serious one, I warned in the scariest-sounding tone I could muster,(which was not very scary at all),"Sorry Marcus, but you're next."

Everyone started erupting into bursts of laughter, even Cameron who had remained silent for most of the time. "That-was-h-hilarious!" Alex struggled to say between fits of laughter.

I crossed my arms over my chest and huffed, "Come on, it wasn't that funny. I think." I pretended to be annoyed, but inside, I thought happily, "So far, this day is turning out a lot better than I thought!"

Hiazz everyone! I don't really have anything to write here, but just in case, be prepared if the fifth chapter takes a while to publish, it's cos of my stupid exams(that I hate with a burning passion).
