Iqraam

shopping-

i walked into the mall with Ruqayyah trailing behind me

i opened my phone and called ammi

where were they!?!

ammi answered

"salaam- where are you all!?!" i asked her

"was salaam- in 'Oppanma" she replied and then hung up

where on earth is 'oppanma?!"

I turned to Ruqayyah

"Unless you are new here- where is Op-pan-" i said as i had trouble pronouncing that word

She chuckled

something went off in my body- current-

must be due to heat-

"Oppanma-" she said "Its a shop that sells accessories" she added

"Okay and where is it?" i asked her

she nodded

"Its on the second floor- third or fourth shop" she replied and i nodded

"Shall we?" she asked me and i nodded

we walked into the elevator and she walked inside

people pushed into the elevator and i felt hot

this place was crammed!

i sighed

she stood in the corner and i stood beside her keeping some distance

i did not want her to think i was sort of perv or something-

A man stood infront of us and clearly he needed a makeover!

i tried to control my rapid breathing but this man here decided to push back upon us making me hit her body with force and she was sandwiched between my huge body and the elevator wall

i pushed the man back and stood straight

i turned to her and she was still clammed to the wall, her eyes shut

she looked....... vulnerable

i smiled

I leaned close to her making sure for the distance between us

"Its okay you can leave that" i muttered and stood straight

she stood beside me and i gave her a small smile

she nodded

the man infront of us was being a nuisance

he took a step back and almost crashed with her

my instant instinct kicked in and i pushed him infront and my hand blocked his body from being near Ruqayyah's

she wore niqab so it was not really clear whether she was angry or sad or what- but i knew that she was uncomfortable with him near her

i was glad when the elevator came to the 10th floor and we walked out

the place was not that crowded but it was filled with people shopping

'where is the shop?" i asked her

she pointed towards the other side of the hall

we walked and finally stood infront of 'Oppa-thingi-"
