Chapter 1O; birthday.

Personally, I dedicate this chapter for my little sister, Aleena. After all the few weeks or months that I haven't updated because of school.. Enjoy this chapter, Nena.

I check my phone for the time, 11:36 am.
This morning around 8 am, Liam and Louis took me out for pancakes at a restaurant for my birthday today. I opened up a few presents and what I got were a few sweaters, jewellery, and another phone case. The phone case was from Lou and it was one of their band cases. After I opened them all I hugged them both and thanked them for the gifts. We spent an hour joking around the table until the manager said we were too loud and asked us to leave. Fun.

Right now, Niall, Zain and I are making our way down to Subway where we are going for Lunch.

I guess today everyone's taking me out for my birthday meals.

"Zain, we don't have time to stop in front of Lindsay's big mirrors. I'm hungry!" Niall complains. Zain stands there and brushes his hair with his comb, which I guess he got from his pocket. Who knows what Zain carries around in those pockets of his.

Niall and I stand there and wait for him to be done but he keeps stroking his hair. I had enough. I grab Zains comb and stuff it in my pocket.

"Come on, Zee. We need to go, I'm hungry." I say. I grab Zains hand and continue walking down the street, not letting go.

Niall seemed to feel kind of off as I hold Zains hand, he sighs and complains that I should let go so he doesn't feel like a 'third wheel'.

As we pass by a magazine company store, a few people come outside and start following us. They ask us a lot of questions and take many pictures, it's obviously the paparazzi . I let go of Zains hand before we walk into Subway.

"soo, birthday girl. What's on the menu for lunch?" Zain asks.

"Pizza subss!" I say without hesitation.

"yeah, pizza!" Niall grins and puts out his fist for a bro fist and I bump my fist on his.

"while I order them, you 'kids' can go find us a seat." Niall nudges Zain.

Zain & I try to find a seat but most tables are not available.

"why does it have to be so busy today?" He groans.

A few minutes pass and finally a small family of four leaves a table. quickly Zain and I go sit down before any one else would.

"Mckenzie? soo, it's been awhile, not long but do you happen to have your eyes set on someone?" He winks and chuckles

I lean over the table and lightly punch his arm playfully, "no, I don't. and it wouldn't be your business anyway," I flip my hair over my shoulder to be dramatic and sassy about it.

"Okay, okay. Thanks for punching me, yeah?" He laughs, "I thought you and Nialler would be together by now. You two being pulling it off by making the paparazzi think you guys are. It's all over the magazines" He smirks,

"Zee, that's the plan. maybe a few nights ago, we were playing pool downstairs in the den and Niall said if he loses, we go on a date. And if I lost we would have to pretend we're dating in front of cameras. He's sneaky.. but I agreed on the bet and sure enough I lost." I laugh at that night, we were just beginning the game when he made the bet. He was losing terribly until I agreed on the bet than he went all pro on pool.

"He's sneaky alright.. you guys ever thought about it? Like..."

"Guys! Pizza subs are amazing today." Niall interrupts Zain.
