The youngest child of Kido Tsubomi and Kano Shuuya. Kano Tsubasa or simply Tsubasa, is the 11th member of the Mekakushi Dan and its current leader. As a child, she was very shy and only had the concealing eyes ability, being the only one to have the eye power within the family along with her mother, Kido saw the potential within her youngest child. That when Tsubaki found the supposedly demolished building of Apartment 107, the Dan's hideout, to be fine. She quickly assigned Tsubasa (who was 3 at the time) as the new leader but for the time being, as Tsubasa was too young, she assigned her eldest son to be the leader. When Tsubasa was growing up, who never got a hold of her powers, went to the point where she was rumored to be a ghost of the school and even sometimes getting erased in photographs and she hated it. She hated being hurt and bullied because of it. When her mother learned about this, she was devastated and dedicated Tsubasa's after school hours to train her to control her powers.

Tsubaki was happy that everyone of her family supported her through her training and after 3 years of training, she mastered her concealing eyes and has now fallen silence, unless someone talks to her. That has because her older brother, Tsubaki, died with her in a road accident that was caused by Kuroha, who she never knew until she was older. While she was dead, she was consumed in the haze as it was August 15 that day. There, she met Azami, the creator of the never-ending world. There Azami compliments her for being the youngest to enter the Haze, there Tsubasa learned that despite Azami creating the haze, she was unable to control it. After a teary goodbye, Tsubaki gave his Deceiving Eyes to his little sister. As a result, the two eye powers combined and became her Disillusioning Eyes. And little to Tsubasa and Tsubaki's knowledge, Azami, who had grown fond of Tsubasa of the short time they were together gave her the Retaining Eyes as a farewell gift. And from that point on, Tsubasa swore on Tsubaki's grave that she will avenge him and that she'll take his position, the position that was meant for her, the leader of the Mekakushi Dan and handle them with no doubt, and recklessly. 

And present day, Kido quotes her leading style as, "Something that's very reckless and she doesn't seem to show regret to every choice". While Kano quotes it as, "Utterly reckless and doesn't seem to care about the obstacles". Tsubasa is a very dependent leader, sometimes. Somehow she's very strategic but she let's the members do what they think is right. She is known for being lazy and laid-back in the Dan. She has problems in handling Haru, Shuumi and Shiromi to keep in line. She can't wear a skirt if the world depended on it.
