The Dark Knight: The Joker Returns (The Joker's Daughter)

Ch.1 The Beginning

I loved the rain the way how it smelled felt and the sight OH!! How I loved it all. And right now it felt even better because tonight was the night that everything was going to change for the better. For years I had been planning this and NOBODY was going to stop me. Gotham had no idea what was coming to them. I couldn't stop the giant smile that was forming on my bright red lips. I knew my makeup was smearing I knew I had to fix it before the party but OH!!! I had to enjoy the freezing rain I jumped in the biggest puddle of the street splashing the dark water everywhere. I laughed manically and skipped some more while humming a tune that I knew oh to well. My father used to hum it to me. Before HE took him away HE TOOK HIM AWAY!!!! a frown appeared on my face as I picked up my speed. The faster I got there the faster it would all start. The smile appeared on my face. Children scurried away as I groweled at them. A chuckle escaped my lips as I saw extreme fear in their eyes and very soon it would be all of gotham with that same look of Hopelesness and despair. I saw my little warehouse and ran as fast as I could. I ran in and threw my coat on the ground I couldnt take my time I had to hurry up!! I went to my cracked mirror and smiled it was time!!! I washed all the smuedged make up off and dried my face. I hadnt seen my face in a long time. I touched my newly done wounds and flinched they were still very fresh. I cackled a little as I started applying the makeup. Nobody even knew I exsisted but after today they would. I finished my "mask" and smiled it was perfect!! I dried my waist long green hair got a straightner and started to curl it I had to look good tonight after all it was the beginning to the end. I giggled a little got my coat and started putting all of my weapons inside.

"Are you re-ready to go?" I smiled at his nervousness it was the way people acted around my father and I wanted it to be no different around me.

I pushed him against the wall and laughed manically "Why so serious you ought to smile more"

"Ye-yes sir I mean ma'am"

What an idiot didn't even know what was coming to him. "Do I make you nervous?"

"N-no" he stammered nervously trying not to look into my dark eyes.

"dont LIE TO ME!!!!" I growled

"Ok Yes" I could see he was trying to hold back tears I couldnt have someone like this working for me that would be embarrassing.

I released a ear splitting laugh and he laughed along with me maybe my laugh was contagious? I stopped and stared straight into his eyes. "well you should be" and with those words I got my knife and slit his throat. He fell to the ground gasping trying to catch his breath. He twitched and kicked for awhile before finally laying lifeless.

"Someone get in here!!!"

One of my other useless workers came in and his eyes fell on his companion. He knew better than to say anything "Get the body out" I spat "I have a party to finish getting ready for" I left the room cackling still putting the many weapons I would need tonight.

"IVY!!!" I yelled she was always late for everything maybe this was why my father hated her so much I couldnt blame him. She wasnt totally useless she could be usefull when she wanted to me.

"I'm coming calm down!!"

I growled and cursed under my breath as I threw my knife at her door penetrating threw.

She opened the door slowly and looked at the knife appauld "Seriously this is like the 5th time you do this"

I rolled my eyes but laughed a little "Well I wouldnt if you would HURRY UP!!!"

She looked me straight in the eyes and smirked "Enjoy tonight because this is when we get our turn at chaos"

I started laughing without control after awhile I got my breath and held my stomach "Oh Ivy" I wiped a tear from my eye and cackled more "Sometimes you kill me" I stood up right and glared at her "But right now I want to kill you!!!!"

She rolled her eyes and kicked the back door open "Come on today we are going to make history lets go" she replied before smirking and running out towards the car.

I smiled evily and followed behind her. As soon as I jumped in she started the car and sped off. I was in the back with our lunatics preparing everything bombs guns and most importantly my laughter. I couldnt keep the smile off my face. I worked in silence and concentration as we got closer and closer to the future of Gotham.

After a couple of mintues we arrived in front of the building that was going to start disaster for every citizen in this town.

"Are you ready" Ivy asked not looking at me but outside.

I cackled a little and looked outside as well ,then I looked her start in the eye very crazy like "My father always said that this town deserves a better class of criminal" I stopped for a few seconds to let a cackle out before I continued "But he was wrong he isnt the a better class of criminal I AM!!" and with that I ran out the car laughing uncontrollably.
