Lost: Chap. 1

Chapter 1:

"Urgh.... It's a school morning again...... Must I wake up so early....? School starts at 9!"

"Just wake up! You have to do your work remember?" My mum nagged.

Unwillingly, I dragged myself out of bed and to get ready for school. It's a Friday morning and I didn't really feel well.

But I guess with high expectation parents, it's impossible to miss a single day of school.

I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Angel and I'm 16 this year. I have a boyfriend named Roy and he is the sweetest in the world.

We had been together for 5 months and no matter how we try to break up, it never worked due to our strong love.

I looked at my watch, 7am..... Guess I will start going to sch, just when I was done getting ready, my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Yo! I'm under your block! Hurry up and let's catch the bus!"

"Ok! Be there in 3!"

I hurriedly wore my favorite Vans sneaker, grabbed my backpack and went out of the house. "Wait!"

I turned around to see my mum signaling me to wait. "Here's your allowance and don't forget dinner at the restaurant tonight. Your dad wants to see you...."

At the sound of the word dad, my mood dropped drastically.

"Well tell him maybe I don't want to see him."

"Angel..... It's been 3 years...... Can't you forgive your dad....?"

I couldn't bother to listen to the rest my mum had to say. I continued to walk to the elevator.

I never liked my dad. Ever since the divorce between him and my mum, he was dead to me. 3 months after the divorce, he managed to find a woman and is currently living with her and their second child. The sight of them just despites me.

"Well someone is fashionably late."

"Cut it Violet. I just had some talking to do with with my mum."

"By talking you mean him....?"

"Yea. He wanted to meet me for dinner at the restaurant again. I told mum to give an excuse."

"Why do he even try?"

"Who knows, never mind that. Lets go. We have to do maths."

The girl I was talking to is my best friend, Violet. I met her 4 years ago and never regretted it. To this day, no one can understand me better than her.

We were at the bus stop waiting for the bus when a message arrived.

"Breakfast?"

"Not today....... I gotta rush to school to finish up my work."

"I'll bring it back for you. What do you want?"

"A Starbucks sandwich and iced chocolate would be nice......"

"Delivery coming right up!"

"That was Roy isn't it? How sweet is he.... Asking you is you need breakfast... How I wish I had a boyfriend like yours too!"

"Come on Vi, you are prettier than me. You can definitely get your guy!"

Just when I finished my sentense, the bus arrived.
